Dewhurst is a slick cross the aisle to advance the liberal agenda politician. He just looks like a slimy politician that has been around too long. I’m for Cruz.

The reaction was loud enough that it partially drowned out Perry’s cries of “Texas works! Texas works!” as he continued his speech.

“We all know in our hearts that Texas is the laboratory of conservative reform. We need more strong conservatives in Texas and we need more conservative Texans in Washington DC, including my friend, David Dewhurst,” Perry said.

The room was immediately washed with strong “boos” – and/or “Cruz” – in response, as the crowd heavy with tea party and conservative convention-goers expressed its preference.

Perry recovered and soon had the crowd again applauding references to God and Texas actions like taking away funding for Planned Parenthood. Convention-goers also were big fans of Obama slams.

Later, after he finished signing copies his budget compact along with convention-goers who lined up for the privilege, Perry said when asked about the eruption, “Boo? I thought they were saying ‘Dew.’”

What Cruz has been is determinedly ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT. Dewhurst is Establishment. If Cruz is nominated, Texas has a Senate race well worth working in. If Dewhurst, Texans will have to wait and try to purge Cornyn and then Dewhurst, because just as with POTUS there will be no 2012 election for Senate from Texas. We have enough spineless GOP-E greedheads and airheads in the Senate already: NO MORE!

When they speak and vote on the Law of the Sea Treaty, take names of speakers and their positions and keep the roll call vote.

Well, okay. That’s what you say he’s not.

But what is he?

I can’t find any Cruz supporters who will give me a good reason to vote for him and I will be voting in the runoff.

I don’t have a problem with him being a lawyer as long as he is conservative.

” What will Romney have to do to keep from being DUMPED at the Tampa Convention?”

As another poster put it so succinctly on another thread, "Nothing".

I love this thread...short as it may be.

Firstly, BillyBob, who is sane enough to see La Raza Rick Perry for what he is, makes a comment about Perry and is then accused of being a Mittens supporter because of it.

Then, the queen Perry supporter kook chimes in to do what? Voice her support for Mittens.

It is a fact that many if not most of the PerryBots who were banned from FR have found a new home in the anti-FR website where they can all share in their support for Mittens.

Is it any wonder why they supported a RINO like Perry?

Dewhurst won the Jimmy Carter Co Generator Lotto.

Wants everyone to think he earned it with his blood sweat and tears.

I have a quarter that thinks he is in the Ethanol market too.

Just guessing on that one.
