When Obama can’t reach 50 percent approval in a state, consider it a 10 point lead or above for Romney

Romney won the Republican Primary Election and he is now a coin-flip from winning or losing to Obama? DUMP ROMNEY!

By the time we were “allowed” to vote in Texas, 7 of the 9 Candidates had dropped out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STUPID Primary Election system!

But I digress.

The facts today are different from the facts in January. ONLY an OPEN Convention can realistically evaluate all the facts in a cohesive manner.

Allow me to state my case in this manner:

The IDEA is to beat Obama convincingly. Forget about your favorite politician, and focus on the IDEA of beating Obama.

The REPUBLICAN Primary Candidates have proven that NONE of THEM can fight their way out of a wet paper bag!

The REPUBLICAN Primary was merely a test run to the GENERAL NATIONAL ELECTION.

REALITY CHECK: NONE OF THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY CANDIDATES CAN BEAT OBAMA IN NOVEMBER.

Given that reality, let us learn from the lessons of History, insist that the Convention delegates vote to ABSTAIN (=None of the above), OPEN the Tampa Convention to discussion and chose the Candidate that CAN beat Obama.

Why is this so hard?

We owe NO loyalty to ANY of our Primary Candidates.

We owe NO loyalty to the Primary Election results.

We owe no loyalty to the RINO Wing of the Republican Party.

We owe loyalty ONLY to what is best for the United States of America, and that , IMHO, is to CONVINCINGLY DEFEAT OBAMA in November.

In 2008 we accepted the RINO Primary BS on McCain, shame on them.

In 2012 if we accept the RINO Primary BS on Romney, shame on us.

BTW, for all of you that consider Romney to be THE guy, just answer this question:

” What will Romney have to do to keep from being DUMPED at the Tampa Convention?”

“Purple Poll?”

The polling outfit is Purple Strategies, a relatively new organization.

I’m less worried about VA and CO.. I think those will be taken back this year. And I’m glad to see the trends in FL and Ohio, along with Michigan (in the EPIC-MRA poll)

Speaking of losers, we also accepted Goldwater and he was only half a Conservative. We accepted Ford and he wasn't a Conservative at all. Then we accepted a couple of other guys who weren't Conservatives, and now we are 2 for 2 ~ McCain, who's arguably not all that good a Republican (he's into reaching) and neither is Romney.

So, I'd add this question ~ why should we put up with this kubuki theatre GOPe keeps ladeling out. It's really not getting us anywhere.

Today Rasmussen has them in a 45%-45% tie in Colorado.

You're accused of being a racist if you disagree with Obama or don't consider him at least a demi-god. Imagine being a moderate democrat who voted for Obama last time and is feeling the heat from your union but not the love for Obama. Who do you say you are voting for when asked and who do you actually pull the level for? The Bradley effect this time around is going to be at least 7 points. In other words, unless Obama is up by 8 points or more then the state is Romney's. Just my gut feeling.

This poll does not surprise me to much. I seriously doubt that Romney will carry BOTH Florida and Ohio. Maybe one but not both.
Colorado is now a suburb of Denver and the Peoples Republic of Boulder. Will be bright red after November Virginia is owned an operated by Washington. Is already bright red. My guess is Romney will carry Florida and the mighty No will carry Ohio, Colorado and Virginia.

That VA news is encouraging since other polls I’ve seen have 0 with a larger lead. If Romney is in striking distance he can flip the state. Would be good to take back CO also. Though in many cases I fear it will take a second 0bama term to really turn a lot of states back to the right.

I have bitched for years about McCain’s “reaching across the aisle.” When he does, he pulls back a bloody stump. And says, “Gee, fellas, is that fair?” sd

Hewitt was right, Romney should spend some time in California, if only to cut the national popular vote for Barry. And, he would net serious cash there.

Goldwater only half a conservative???? That's like saying Wayne Gretzky was "only half a hockey player."
