Newt Gingrich said he would end the growth of Agenda 21 in the US. Does Mitt know what it is?
A promise I didn't trust as far as I could throw the little butter ball, because of his record on environmental issues.
Does Mitt know what it is?
I doubt it, but here I do want to say something more to the point. Inasmuch as it is good that the people are waking up to Agenda 21, governments could ALL ban it at all levels while their bureaucracies and the courts adopt it in total, piece by piece. So to keep these actions from becoming only window dressing people must understand that it is the institution of POWERS upon which Agenda 21 relies that are the real problem and it is the devolution of bureaucracies that is the fix. For without a free market of competing ideas in risk management architecures, the combination of risk management enterprise with police power of the state will sink us eventually, no matter what.
The enemy is us, every time we ask for any level of government to fix a problem it becomes a way to tilt the tables. What we need far more is means to fix the mess that is our judicial system, particularly as regards liability and access costs, the means by which we socialize risks and privatize benefits exclusively to those with the wherewithal to fix the legal playing field. As to costs, one means is to localize the impact. I keep thinking of a 'micro-federalism' if you will. More uneven competition among entities by natural law competition would be a good way to make more tangible the fallacies of bureaucratic management.
