As I understand it, she said she is under no obligation to provide the the whole truth and nothing but the truth on her “affidavit” despite having taken an oath to do precisely that.
Angela Corey has intentionally mislead the court, and quite frankly she should be in jail right now instead of Zimmerman.
The USA is no longer a just country.
It is Corey, like Nifong, who should be dis-barred, removed
from this case and tar and feathered.
I’m an attorney (reformed prosecutor, actually) and Dershowitz used to nauseate me. However, if I were accused of a crime I didn’t commit he’s at the top of the list of the people I’d want next to me in the Courtroom.
What Dershowitz is absolutely implacable about is the idea that the government is bound by its own rules. He is very strong on the Rule of Law. Might have something to do with his Jewish historical perspective; he knows what happens when a government no longer recognizes the Rule of Law.
Wonder if Dersh still regards people like us as “ultimate evil,” as he called us during the Clinton impeachment.

Dersh is also extremely vocal about infringement of free speech on college campuses, particularly the hypocrisy of warmly embracing left-wing freaks like Ward Churchill while conservative or even moderate speakers are often banned. Alan isn't nearly so accepting of political correctness as many of his fellow academics would have him be.

After what Corey did in the Marissa Alexander case, overcharging her and slapping her with 20 years, that perturbed even the HuffPuff Post, one has to wonder why the governor appointed her to this case??? Was the governor expecting the same here or something different????
Alan Dershowitz is a stand up guy, I disagree with him on some political issues, like who to vote for, but he is not a doctrinaire liberal, he’s more of libertarian with a little bit bigger government than I would agree to, but his passion is the law, and you will find that he and Judge Nipolitano would agree on the law a great deal!
Disagreement is not a reason to make enemy’s, violence and injustice are!
Concerning Mr. Zimmerman, I don’t know if he committed any crime, other than being a cop want-a-bee, but he will have his day in court, and the jury will have the duty to decide if a crime was committed or if politics has inspired an overzealous prosecutor to wade into a witch hunt.
Dershowsitz endorsed and was an ardent supporter of Joel Pollack (R) in his 2010 challenge to Jan Schakowsky (D) in IL-9.

I might up the percentage to 85% but otherwise I agree. The man has a set of core beliefs and turns on the leftists in a flash when they disagree with his beliefs.
Going back to Clinton in the White House, I'll wager there have been eight to ten times that a Dershowitz statement has left people on FR posting "I never thought I would agree with Dershowitz, but . . ."
