Hmm. It kind of seems like he was surprised at how long the laughter was at such a benign push up kid on his wife. Ten it seems like he gets it, and frowns because oh my gosh, that is too dirty for The President so he tries to get it to stop, but it only gets worse, so then he carefully crafts the “she beats me in push ups as well” line.
I think he did not see that dirty take at first. I don’t think he intended it. He doesn’t need to be crude publicly to earn the gay vote.
So it was just a coincidence? Not buying it. He is disgusting and probably a homosexual himself - if not, then bisexual. How could he not have known how it would be interpreted? A sixth grader would have known. He is a no-class POS and so is his Wookie.
The audio alone made me think the rude joke was intended.
However, I finally watched the video (and I hate looking at him speak) and I think he realized the double meaning when he abruptly frowns and then puts his hands up as if to get the audience to settle down.
My question is, was he reading it off a teleprompter? If so, the joke was deliberately put there by a staffer for that audience.
He remains a scumbag though.
