Missouri Democratic Senator Claire McCaskills three leading Republican challengers all now earn 50% or more of the vote in matchups with her.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Missouri Voters shows former State Treasurer Sarah Steelman with the widest lead. Shes ahead of McCaskill by 12 points, 51% to 39%

Romney also leads in Missouri 49 to 42.
As long as she's not replaced by a RINO. An effective RINO can be more destructive and difficult to dislodge than an ineffective and obvious moron, out to lunch, loony Democrat such as Boxer or Franken.
Hip Hip .....
Hip Hip .....
LOL. Payback is a b&#%h. She carried the most water for him. Always had her kneepads at the ready for her master. All of zero’s staunch early supporters are going to go down with the SS Rat.
Not familiar with the GOP candidates. Are any of the TP people?
She wore the kneepads out and then her knees.
Just more "honest" mistakes made by Dems who seem to feel divinely exempt from ethical behavior and unbridled by the tax laws they impose on everyone else.
.
Good! She is the worst hack! She’ll be able to hang out with Michael J. Fox whenever she wants.
That would be the same said old bag...Yes indeedy.
Get your DU account now. Save it for election night.
They are such cowards, they will shut it down once they realize they are going down (as Barack-olie would say) and THEY ARE GOING DOWN ALL THE WAY !!!
Infact, get a couple of accounts so you can make appropriate remarks on election night - and then when you are banned, you can go in under another name !
oh no, i’d need a hazmat suit and a chemical scrub before i ever go near that 7th level of hell.
I wonder what's become of all the Rats he helped elect into office, like McCaskill, 6 years ago because they wouldn't back embryonic stem cell research?
Such beautiful music to my ears, I could cry! That witch fooled MO by telling everyone she was all about small home town values and people. Her ads used to make me sick. Thankfully, no sooner did she take office and everyone realized the mistake they had made. The polls are showing it and I will be very happy to see her go. Just wish she would get a swift kick in the @$$ on the way out.
Excellent news on all fronts in these polls! One step closer to a majority in the Senate
They don’t come much dumber the Claire McCaskill. this totally dumb woman should be flipping hamburgers in MacDonald’s!!! Oops, sorry Big Mac dudes & dolls, did not mean to insult you in any manner. You good folks have dignity, pride and a desire to succeed. MacCaskill, like all Democrats, is braindead!!
well if she’s down by 12 now, i hope to see a down by 20+ come election day......hopefully Blanche Lincoln territory, she’s getting that spiraling death whiff about her campaign.
Go Sarah go
My question too.
Anyone?
Bueller?
Take out the trash, Missouri...
Sarah Steelman has been endorsed by Tea Party. Several months ago. She rocks!
None of her Republican opponents are RINOs. Sarah Steelman has been endorsed by Tea Party.
Rep Todd Akin, John Brunner and Sarah Steelman are all solid conservatives. Akin is the most knowledgable but Steelman might have a gender advantage against McCaskill. Brunner is a businessman and a newcomer to politics - has been running lots of TV ads. I think the TP could endorse any of the three.
Doesn’t matter now. He got McCaskill and Cardin into office (convinced all the blacks to vote for the old white guy instead of the black guy, Michael Steele) and that was his goal.
Better be room on Hillary’s broom come November because “Air Claire” will be gone!
There are three: Todd Akin, Sarah Steelman, and John Brunner, probably in that order of likelihood of winning the nomination. Akin is my congressman, and I think he's probably got the best chance of beating McCaskill.
Perhaps there is no one to egg Claire on.
Tea Party EXPRESS has endorsed S. Steelman. She sometimes travels with them on the bus tours.
Thanks for the info !
Good. Thanks.
Is anyone getting the feeling that Barroccoli and his ilk are going to get spanked worse in 2012 than they did in 2010?
I like Brunner...a REAL conservative and a successful businessman.
Steelman will probably get the nod, even though there are rumors of her and Lacy Clay (D-MO) having had a "romance".
Just like their were rumors of Scott Walker’s “love child.”
Akin is a fine man. But Steelman is always up higher (1-3 pts.) in most polls I’ve seen, over Ma McCaskill.
It’s amazing how polls are so accurate all of a sudden. We have gone from Polls are trash and dishonest to polls are the best things around. I will wait and see until November. November is a long time away. Although I don’t see Clair winning her seat, some of these polls I don’t believe so much.
Oh, oh...time to break out Michael J. Fox and his glorious misrepresentations on stem cell research and parkinsons..
This is the best news I’ve heard all day.
Good news. Thanks.
Akin is a solid convervative. He is also a long time home schooler. See link for a good article on him.

Unfortunately Boxer has been in the Senate since the early 90’s. Never underestimate the stupididy of the American electorate.
When is the Missouri primary and/or decision as to who the Senate is?
When is the Missouri primary and/or decision as to who the Senate is?
Yes they do. Ever heard of Patty Marray from WA state?
Me too. McCaskill is an embarrassment to the people of Missouri.
That was an excellent article. I am glad to get the information. Most homeschoolers are conservative on other issues like abortion and gay marriage. I do not automatically go for the Tea Party candidate. They have made mistakes before. Alot of them went for Ron Paul and that to me was very short-sighted and stupid. And, Steelman is not my favorite. I think she acts a little too affected for my tastes. This isn’t a movie role the candidates are trying out for and her appearances on TV have seemed very TVish to me. I have liked Akin all along even though I am not in his district. He is a good family man and we need good people to represent Missouri in DC.
This is exceptionally good news, thanks for sharing it!
