"I don't know if he's going to win," fmr. Gov. Ed Rendell (D-PA) said on the Thursday evening broadcast of "John King USA" on CNN. "And I have this strange habit of trying to tell the truth when you ask me a question. I'm not sure he's going to win -- he should win."

"He inherited the worse set of problems any president in my lifetime and he's done a good job of advancing the ball, not as far as anyone would like -- including himself," Rendell observed.

Advancing the ball TO WHERE?

This is the sort of linguistic chess the Libs like to play. They use nebulous phrasing that Democrats can use as talking points, but they don’t qualify their statements.

Obama would say, “We’re going to fundamentally transform America.” And I constantly screamed at the television, “INTO WHAT?”

People have a tendency to project their own wants and opinions on to the comments of politicians and think that they politician is speaking to them. Obama is a master of this. Republicans like Reagan were great at telling the public exactly what they were going to do, to whom, with what, and by what time. Obama just spouts platitudes and expects us to accept them as, “OH, he’s going to do X because that’s what I think should be done!”

Hmmmmm...liberals are quick to condemn Christianity (the Bible, Jesus Christ, etc.), yet they strive to come up with their own religious models and consistently fall short. In the last decade they’ve offered up an apocalypse (”Global Warming”) and in Obama, a messiah. He comes complete with a mysterious birth, comes out of nowhere to begin his ministry, etc., yet in a few short years he’s proven to be just another idol, a false prophet, and is cast aside by his True Believers like last week’s garbage. Meanwhile, the Christian messiah is still going strong twenty centuries later.

I didn't know Rendell was born after Reagan took office... He hasn't aged well.

Overall I agree however, Obama’s handlers are the masters. He is a hollow shell that reads what he is given. The myth of his oratory/mastery is just that. A myth. Compare his teleprompter speech to his off the cuff/non TP speech.

He is an idiot.

Dems are going to have to face the inevitable. They will lose big time, unless they “raise the dead” (voter fraud).
