There was a time when Bush was president, that the Republicans had total control. What did they do? They spent like Democrats. We really have a one-party system with 2 branches dedicated to fooling most of the people all of the time.

I was listening to NPR to get news that Christians were told to leave the Syrian city by Friday. I did not hear this on NPR. Did it really happen???

Jesus made a clear distinction between serving God and serving Ceasar. Not the same thing. The Catholic church is not to serve the poor by naming the atheist government God’s service. This nun and priest are supposed to be converting, serving and counseling the poor directly though the church.
