Mandeville, LA Its ammunition, an Olympic nominee, a target giveaway, and more, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
Hand-inspecting ammunition is something Black Hills Ammunition Co-Owner and President Jeff Hoffman began doing when he became a law enforcement officer in 1979, and carried it over into his business. Black Hills offers a complete product line including cowboy action, factory new, and remanufactured ammunition. Hoffman drops in on Sunday to talk about what you will find at Black Hills Ammunition. Visit http://www.black-hills.com for more information.
After having not qualified for an Olympic spot four previous times, Smallbore shooter Sandra Uptagrafft has earned a spot on the 2012 US Olympic Team. Its a dream come true, said Uptagrafft. It sounds cliché, but its been a long struggle and it does prove that hard work, perseverance and determination really do pay off. Uptagrafft will now join her husband Eric in London (who last competed in the 1996 Olympics), where they both will not only be competing as a married couple on the USA Shooting Team, but celebrating their anniversary. Find out more at http://www.usashooting.org/ .
Action Targets Addison Sovine stops by with info on a variety of the different targets available to the winner of the latest Gun Talk giveaway. The Grand Prize is a $1500 gift certificate to use at http://www.actiontarget.com/! Enter to win at http://www.guntalk.com/contest.

Thanks for the reminder, mylife!
Anytime!
Thanks for the invite, boss! :-) (See, I do listen to you ;-)
Good to see you.
Thanks :-) YOU TOO!
Cool! This looks promising too...
Not sure if a drum will work on the saiga 12 conversion though.
CNS asked me to put all the seats down, in case you were here. (;^{O)
lmao!!!!!!!!!!! I did 3 years overseas with the Marines...who the hell needs a seat? ;-)
Hiya my!!
Howdy Dave!
Hickok45 here. ;-)
In all honesty, I do not know all that much about weapons...but..I did blow the top outta my dads hunting cap with my first .410, when he tossed it up in the air and yelled “MARK!”.... and I am one of a very few military nurses with an expert marksman medal...(I guess that means I give good shots) ;-)
Just nice to be among FRiends-so thanks for the welcome
You’re Hickok45?
Well, I feel honored!
Good to see you.
OMG!
Quick put the seat down on the toilet and for God’s sake go outside if you need to let one go!
LOL!!!
LoL. Borrowing his introduction. :-)
I’m so proud!
My 21 yr old Son called the other day and said he voted for Scott Walker.
I had never even spoke to him about the election, it was all him!
Damned pussy! If ya GOTTA LET ONE RIP, DO IT LIKE YA GOT A PAIR! LMAO (Hang time is what may get ya a trophy!—at least in my weird family lake trips—we give awards for crap like that (NO pun intended) )
Awesome young man.
I’m proud of him too.
His papa learned him good!
He does some remachining that allows a wide range of shell quality to be fired without issues.
His server must be down right now.
BTW, thanks for the link.
Thanks.
You are some kind of hard boiled! LOL!
Guess you had to be doin’ what you done.
Darned fine enough shot for me. Did you get your Dad a new cap?
I have mine set up like the one in the middle at the lonestararms page, but I added a trirail fore stock with forward pistol grip.
The Kushnapup looks like a neat setup but the trigger linkage concerns me. Saigas already have a modified trigger linkage so they could move the trigger group back.
Now yer gonna add another linkage?
Hmmmm...
Naaaaaaaaaaaa Im just a chick with a great sense of humor, and even better aim :-)
Duck! Incoming.... outgoing... whatever!
The old man kept that hat for years...he was proud as hell I was a good shot “for a girl” ;-) LOL
Took the SCAR out for a walk at the 100 yard range an hour and a half away. Never mounted a scope on my own before, got every shot on an 8x11 copy paper target at the beginning. When I left I was getting quarter size groups. Now if I can only find a 300 yard range. Closest is about 3 hours away. Where’s Texas when you need one?
Come on down! I can set you up with 400 yards.
I have the L1 Tactical from Lonestar.
Actually, my wife got to peruse it first, I’m out of country.
She looked really cute standing in front of the computer, over Skype, snapping the buttstock in and out smartly.
She’s eager to know how to use it when I get back.
I used the V Plug

Sweeet.
WTF was that?!!! The ricochet?
Big time ricochet.
Scary stuff.
I still think you should get a carry permit. /nanny
Point taken..and will check into it pronto—thanks!
Holy CraP!
It came in like a missile and hit him in the head? What a lucky sew and sew. Or is it so and so?
You may wish to consider a Utah CCW permit as well.
You need not be a resident to get one and it provides huge reciprocity.

It was a close call for sure.
I wonder what they were shooting at? All we know is it was iron.
That just warmed the cockles of my heart. Next stop is a “Flashbang”. Notice you have an advantage we don’t get and Chaz Bono wasted.
