Obama: Too busy to help Wisconsin Democrats in recall election

President Barack Obama explained in a radio interview Monday why he didn't do more to help Wisconsin Democrats in their battle to recall Republican Governor Scott Walker: He was too busy.

"The truth of the matter is that, as president of the United States, I've got a lot of responsibilities," he told WBAY of Green Bay, Wisconsin. WBAY was one of eight TV stations given an exclusive interview with the president — six from battleground states Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, Virginia and Wisconsin and two from California and South Carolina.

Obama said he was "supportive" of Walker's Democratic challenger, Tom Barrett, whom Walker thumped in last week's vote. "Obviously, I would have loved to see a different result," Obama told WBAY.

And the president said he would be working to ensure a different result in November.

"We're going to be fighting very hard in Wisconsin just like we have in the past," said Obama, who carried the state by 14 points in 2008 but saw Barrett lose there by seven points.

Too busy golfing, fundraising, and putting paid posters on FR. Oh... and biking like a girl, throwing like a girl, and eating ice cream cones b/c the private sector is doing just fine.

Fine with me if he wants to fiddle while the Democrat party burns. Works right into MY schedule for the next four years.

“To tell the truth, he knew that Waliker would win and his endorsement would be the kiss of death so he didn’t want to admit he is loser that would have been endorsing a loser.”

You’re right on that; since the post-2008 elections were all viewed as referendums on him, he wanted to make sure “Walker” and “Obama” wouldn’t even be in the same paragraph this time.

The housefly jumped off his mouth and his purple lips were moving so, you know, he's lying again.

The internal polls suggested that the 'Bamster stay out to try and break his perfect record of endorsing losing causes. the Olympics, Corzine, Obamacare, 2010 midterm . . . Better he just STFU and vote present.

Barack Hussein Obama was not “too busy” to visit Wisconsin, he knew a potentially untenable position, and tried, not too artfully, to dodge confrontation altogether.

All right, so he avoided taking a direct hit. But even a near burst scatters schrapnel and sends out shock waves that can damage or even seriously impair functions for critical moments, enough so that ground may be surrendered that cannot be taken back.

Obama, and much of his team, has little real military training, and thus, know little or nothing of Prussian general Carl von Clausewitz, and his treatise “On War”, which outlines a number of strategies, or of Sun Tzu and “The Art of War”. Both these military strategists play key roles even in today’s conduct of conflict, which has as the end result, resolution in favor of one party or the other. The thing is, the tactics of the Left, aligned with Obama, seek only short-term advantage, and they have discovered, that without introducing new strategy or seriously rethinking the old ones, they have played themselves into a corner.

As surely as Jimmy Carter had sealed his own fate in 1979 with the ill-timed and badly-executed rescue attempt in Iran, Obama has boxed himself in by not being sufficiently assertive at a critical moment.

Maybe this won’t kill his chances of re-election. But it is noted that the battleship at the head of the armada is beginning to list badly. An important advantage formerly held is beginning to slip away.

“The truth of the matter is that, as president of the United States, I’ve got a lot of responsibilities,”

What like golfing eating lobster and Kobe Beef, oh and campaigning non stop for your own re-election?

Even Liberals don’t deserve a President as bad as Obama.....No, I take it back.....they do, I don’t!

He was too busy raising “evil money”, the money obama wants to tax you out of. Money is only evil if it is the hands of those that earned it.

Otherwise, it should be doled out to illegal aliens, welfare receipients, and bums to buy votes for rats so they can pass more laws to tear down the fabric of this constitutional republic.

He was too busy accumulating “filthy lucre” to help his fellow rat.

OK with me. When you are the king rat, why give away your cheese to lessor rats?

Blessings, Bobo
