Comfort is such a nice word. Its so easy to live in comfort and never take a chance. Never get in there and try to make a difference. We could live our lives in the comfort zone, never standing up for what is right, never speaking out against what we believe is wrong. But how can we just live our lives like everything is okay while every day, thousands of children are murdered? Its time for us to get out of the comfort zone and stand up against abortion! It is wrong to distance ourselves from whats happening in abortion clinics. It is wrong to sit at home and ignore what is really going on.
Heres a story that took place in Nazi Germany during World War Two. Its about sitting in the comfort zone, while innocent people are killed.
We heard stories of what was happening to the Jews, but we tried to distance ourselves from it, because, what could anyone do to stop it? A railroad track ran behind our small church and each Sunday morning we could hear the whistle in the distance and then the wheels coming over the tracks. We became disturbed when we heard the cries coming from the train as it passed by. We realized it was carrying Jews like cattle in the cars! We knew the time the train was coming and when we heard the whistle blow we began singing hymns. By the time the train came past our church we were singing at the top of our voices. If we heard the screams, we sang more loudly and soon we heard them no more.
The people in the church were living in the comfort zone. They were trying to forget about everything that was going on in the world. Abortion is todays version of the Holocaust. And we are the people in the church. We have a choice. We can either sit in church, singing loudly, pretending nothings wrong, or we can try to stop the train. I, for one, refuse to sit in church and sing while the train of abortion passes by. I will not stand by and let thousands of innocent babies be killed. But I cant stop the train alone no one person can. Thats why Im challenging every person in this room to leave your comfort zone and make a difference in the lives of unborn babies and their mothers. Its time for us to get in there and stop the engine of death.
We need to examine our lives and ask ourselves: what am I doing in the fight to end abortion? Am I sitting in the comfort zone, or am I getting out there and making a difference?
Its great to vote for pro-life candidates, and to try not to buy stuff from places that support Planned Parenthood or other pro-abortion organizations. And although these things are very important, thats not really leaving your comfort zone. Nobody has to know how you vote, and chances are, no one closely examines your shopping habits. So if the only thing you do now in the fight for life is vote for people who believe in the sanctity life, why not take it to the next level? Why not help those candidates publicize their views on life? You can also go to the offices of pro-abortion elected officials and share with them your views on abortion. Another thing you can do is volunteer at a crisis pregnancy center, or befriend a pregnant girl or woman. There is so much we can do, if we use the courage God gave us and make a difference.
Most of the things I have mentioned are a whole lot easier said than done. Leaving your comfort zone does take courage. But if you truly believe that abortion is wrong, that belief will compel you to take action. The very thought of the number of children killed every day will motivate you to speak out against abortion. Im sure youve heard the statistics. You all know that every day in the U.S., almost four thousand babies are aborted. We hear these stats often, but when theyre broken down into smaller numbers, they seem more real. In our country, every hour, 180 babies are aborted. Every minute, 3 babies are aborted. Every 20 seconds, a child is killed. We cannot wait until tomorrow to stand up for the unborn. Every day we put off taking action is costing thousands of children their lives.
As Edmund Burke said, All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. I will not sit and do nothing while the tragedy of abortion continues. I am willing to leave my comfort zone in order to save lives. And I challenge you to make the same commitment. Dont sit and watch while abortionists take the lives of children. Take a risk, ignore what people think of you, and speak up for the unborn.
The train of abortion is still moving, but its slowing down its running out of fuel. This is happening because of all the people who left their comfort zones, who didnt just sit in the church and sing while the train of abortion passed by. We can stop that train; we can save the lives of children if we have the courage to stand up for whats right and make a difference.
One of my favorite songs is Courageous by Casting Crowns. Here is the first line of the song: We were made to be courageous. We were made to lead the way. We could be the generation that finally breaks the chains. God has given us the courage to leave the comfort zone, but its up to us to use that courage to save lives. Its not just a song. We are made to be courageous. We are made to lead the way. We are the generation that will break the chains of abortion.

I fear for the future of our country.
why would you presume that there is a future?
It’s so sad that so many of us never made it out into this beautiful world, because of the selfish choice of another
Perhaps I am more optimistic than is logical. This is the best country that has ever been. It is painful to accept that it may be at an end.
Why would you presume there isn't?
I do too my friend and it comforts me to know that we two are praying for her (America). We need divine help... our troubles are beyond man’s ability to overcome.
it's not presumption of the opposite to question the possibility of a thing. Now, as to why it might be presumption to count on a future, the first thing that comes to mind is that this nation has enshrined in law the murder of unborn infants for profit. We've been on borrowed time for a generation.
I’m always curious why some insist the glass is empty, when the indisputable facts show it half full and filling quickly.
It could be, as Rush often says, follow the money.
I don't know what is "improving" but as long as that takes place it's an exercise in denial.
You're either a liar, or an uninformed fool.
The only this will change is if at least two current Supreme Court justices reire and are replaced with pro-life, pro-Constitution judges. Roe vs. Wade has been diluted in recent years, but it’s still standing.
The answer to anyone who talks about the surplus population is to ask him, whether he is part of the surplus population; or if not, how he knows he is not.

Because saying “fuck no” would be far more obscene.
God Bless our little nascent beings... we love you.
