Obama releases early radio ad pandering to black voters

President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign will release its first radio ad targeted specifically at the African-American community on Tuesday in an unusually aggressive, early effort to rally blacks behind the president.

The ad, titled “We’ve got your back,” begins with a male narrator declaring, “Four years ago, we made history. … We have to show the president we have his back.”

The ad continues with several quotes from the president’s speeches: “We can’t afford to spend the next four years going backwards. … I refuse to pay for another millionaire’s tax cut by kicking children off of Head Start programs.”

Synthetic ‘90s urban music, complete with female singers chiming “We’ve got your back,” is interspersed between the quotes.

According to theGrio, advertisements targeted toward African-Americans are typically released much later in the election season, in coordination with efforts to increase turnout.

“The timing of advertising to African-Americans, and the magnitude of ad spending with media outlets targeting or owned by African-Americans, has long been a source of tension between black media and the Democratic Party,” according to theGrio.

In the 2008 election, Obama carried an overwhelming 96 percent of black voters. But blacks are currently unemployed at a rate of 13.9 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics — the highest rate of any minority group.

Of all the things this ass does, this is perhaps the most nausiating to me. This is simple racial pandering. This SOB should be in a jail cell not running for president.

Consider if Romney got up and said, hey, did you know that up to a few years ago, Morman Blacks, all two of them, could not go to heaven...let’s keep it that way.

Sickening, and it just gets worse from this turd.

He isn’t pandering any less than Clinton did with his BS

Going to Black Churches
Two trips to Africa
Crying as a kid when Black Churches Burned (Lie)
Walking through Harlem as a Returning Rhodes Scholar (Lie)
Putting his office in Harlem

First Black President

Ironic getting hoisted on his own Petard when Obama used the Race Card against him

I wish there was a way to educate people that there is no money tree. If you keep printing money it is eventually worthless. If it is worthless, the EBT cards will stop spitting out food and other goodies. The public housing, free electricity and plumbing goes away.

I wish there was a way to wake up these people the democrats are targeting and make them realize that if we don't reduce spending, there will not be even basic services.

if they approve of being used , abused , and $crewed, is it really being used , abused , and $crewed?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

History will reveal that approving the support of a fascist movement is no excuse, especially for a hitherto free people. People are eventually slaughtered, either as cannon fodder or scapegoats.

Except for a small enlightened minority, the black community is acting dumb and dumber.

History shows it, as it does in this article.

I think he does have trouble and could lose an addition 5% of that vote due to several issues...the chief of which are his Gay MArriage Support and the idea that he has taken too much advantage of them. He may even be more severely impacted because of low turnout.

We need to encourage him in that belief, so that he perceives it at the very least and spends his money there.

I actually think it is so.

I have a page up regarding the same I am considering posting here at FR:

Take a read and pass it on if you are so inclined. Enough info out there lile that may serve to either

1) Get Obama spending more money than necessary because he thinks his base is impacted.

2) Maybe even encourage more minority voters to justifiably bail on him.

Nice article, thanks for the link.

It does seem that the gay marriage issue is impacting his black base to some degree, doesn’t it? At least that is the impression I get from various reports and polls.

I hope those who oppose him on that issue can find the fortitude to overcome the racial attraction on election day.

The good news is that he (his handlers?) feel a need to protect and/or energixe the base. When they are doing that it takes time and money away from offense.
