Will Obama hire new campaign staff? His attack ads are backfiring.

If Obama thought he could carry NC, he must have been smoking long crooked cigaretts. Romney will carry NC by 10+ %. You wont see any Obama AD money in NC this Fall.

Somewhere you can just hear Jimmah Carter saying “YESSS!” “Finally I am going to get out from under this legacy of being the country’s worst president!”

Seems like alot of crucial swing states are either tipping toward Romney or already in his collumn.

Odd choice of population to poll: “Potential voters”

I looked at the links. No mention of either registered or likely voter. It seems to be a poll of people who voted in the 2008 election, but I’m not sure. (BTW - this poll surveyed a population that voted 46/46 for Obama/McCain)

My dad died in 2007 (NC resident). I wonder if he voted for 0bama in 2008.

Rather tenuous situation, since the donks are holding the convention in Charlotte. Sucks to be them!

And it's good to see the race back even here in VA.

How liberal has North Carolina become? From comments I’ve read on FR it sounds pretty leftist... their governor even suggested that elections be suspended “for the good of the economy.”

Any NC Freepers care to weigh in?

PPP, despite being a Dem polster isn’t terrible. Just add in the 5% bias and they are pretty close. Obama’s only shot at a Southern state is Virginia. The rest are way gone to him.

Florida will be close too, but Romney should win there.

Obammy's chances of winning NC are slim to none. If he does somehow take it, he wins in an electoral landslide again.

With the North Carolina Black vote polling at 76% 0dumbo - 20% Romney he doesn't have a prayer. This after beating McCain 95% - 5% in 2008.

When a 90 pt. lead drops to a 56 pt. lead you've got serious, serious problems:

This keeps up for the next few weeks, we could be seeing the Bill & Hill show on the ticket. Seems like every bit of news coming out these days concerning Zero's 2012 prospects is all doom and gloom.

I don’t believe that blacks will vote for the white guy. They’ll either vote O or stay home and play X-Box.

“How liberal has North Carolina become?”

Our growing urban areas are going blue- huge influx of leftists from the NE. On the other hand, the Republicans finally have control of the legislature for the first time in over a century and Governor Bev is not running again. And the Democrat party here is pretty much in meltdown mode after some scandals. If we could run some of these folks back north, we might be able to salvage the place.

Can you interest them in a tour of Dismal Swamp?

Odumbo won NC by a very slim margin in ‘08. Heath Shuler retired bc they took Asheville out of his district, so look for the GOP to pick up one seat in the House and for Romney to win.

No way Obama wins VA this time. Look at the GOP landslides since 2008.
