Considering that most likely Rosicky is out for the Czechs, that certainly helps Poland’s chances........all I want is a crack at the Germans.

At the begining of the match, they put the starting lineups on the TV graphics. There was a definite dearth of vowels in both the Polish and Russian names.

"Błaszczykowski" sounds just like it's spelled.

It's the effects of the cold climate, Emanuel. To say a vowel you must open your mouth wide and subsequently release some precious body heat.

There was an overhead shot of the Russians charging in formation into a much larger crowd of Poles. There were injuries and arrests. OK, so it was no Antietam; I’m allowed to use hyperbole.
