That's okay because according to Nancy Pelosi, the more people on unemployment insurance the more people have to spend which means the more demand for goods/services and building of inventories which equates to more jobs. Seriously?

I despise Keynesian economists and even recently cut loose a life long friend because he is going to vote for Obama - again. I've had enough of trying to convince these morons that private capitalism (with its faults) is still the best economic model ever devised. I try to tell them that it has made the world a better place, but they still whine about the few who have less.
Well, I no longer give a crap about the few. Let 'em starve if they won't pull their own weight. They can always move to Africa that has been the main benefactor of western free-enterprise for decades while countless still live in huts and still can't manage to build clean water systems, much less feed themselves.
Hey old buddy, how'd that socialist system work out in Zimbabwe, once the breadbasket of Africa? Oh right...they can no longer feed themselves. How are things in Somalia, Chad, Sudan, Ethiopia, et al with their totalitarian/socialist/communist regimes? How are things going in Venezuela under Hugo's heavy hand, once a highly regarded resort destination? Oh wait, he nationalized most industry and extorts money from foreign investments, which are leaving daily.
Communist Cuba is goin so well isn't it after all these years? Ever seen the photos of the old 60's and 70's cars running around the island for the elite few? It looks like Tijuana, Mexico. Cuba used to be a tourist destination until their stupid revolution. Now, most live in poverty and I can't count the number of times the citizens try to escape that sh*thole. Hell, most of Miami is made of Cuban expatriates. Think of Caribbean Islands and if Cuba were to go capitalist - the investment in resorts would explode.
Last thought: THE only reason the ME camel jockeys now live in luxury rather than living in tents is because of USA oil engineers years back. They didn't have the knowledge or capital to benefit from their own natural resources until American companies (and other nation capitalists) got involved. Now they hold the World hostage with their oil. Plus, places like Dubai are resort destinations because of western civilization. Hope they all die a quick death with the coming world recession and their towers fall into their sand. End rant.
