If the law allows refills it has nullified itselfThat is the well-known "Cola Show Loophole". They will plug that one.

FIRST STEP?? You've got to be kidding me. We must be at Step 25 now.

At home, if I fill a 32 oz plastic McD’s cup 3/4 full of ice, a 12 oz can of Coke fills the cup.
The same ratio should apply when you buy a “huge” drink at the fast food restaurant or convenience store. (do they even have convenience stores in NYC?)
Of course, all bets are off on the Big Gulp sizes, the ones which come with a diving board and require a lifeguard in attendance if ordered by children under the age of 12.

Everyone seems to be missing the tax angle on this. He is reducing sizes to make people have to buy two or more & NY gets twice the tax revenue or more.

Look at those eyes. He's gone completely around the bend.

Just Damn. The libs there are just drooling over the possibility of ultimate control.
And isn't it the Libs who wailed about Bush and Big Gov, yes, but only
because they wanted the power for themselves and not others.
Hey NY, you drones are lost forever and you can all kiss Americas collective asses.
Idiots.

Since taxes are based on percentages then no, not unless the price of two
costs more then the banned large.
I can't believe this is even being discussed in America.

Doubt they’ll suggest a limiting what kinds of foods you can buy with food stamps.
No twinkies, slim jims, etc. And stop the “cashback” feature of the EBT cards, which they then use to buy ciggies.
Nope, that would be racist.

I can almost see the point of limiting the portions on certain foods and drinks (almost— I still oppose it), but how in the WORLD does this sort of government control over what someone, let’s say a WOMAN, does to her body square up with absolutely no controls over the surgical invasion of her body called abortion? Either people are helpless or they are not.

Keep laughing. Fast food burgers and fries are next. I never go to NY, never do business with any businesses there, and encourage all friends and business associates to do the same.

Great point. I take my two grandsons to an occasional movie. We get one large box and one large drink with three straws. If they take these sizes away it will be just another reason why we will no longer go to the movie but wait until we can see it at home where we can eat and drink whatever we want.

This is actually a serious article, isn’t it? I kept looking for some indication it was a joke.
