He must not have been very important then - the graphic on the video calls him “David Axelron”.

But he makes a salient point in that you can only tell Americans that the economy is improving for so long before they stop believing you unless they see the evidence themselves. Obama simply digs himself deeper every time he tells us how well the economy is doing because everyone sees it isn’t true.
