Cavuto: Republicans considering tax hikes to pass budget
Fox News Channel (no link) | 6/14/12

Cavuto on now. Discussing Repubs are reportedly considering Dem proposal to pass budget through the Senate that would allow an increase in taxes now for a promise to cut a greater amount down the road. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Cavuto noted that the Dems ambushed the Repubs the same way under H.W. Bush.

Just look at it this way. What idiot would give money to someone who over a long period of time has proven over and over and over again that they are incapable of controlling themselves or their spending, and that goes for both parties.

What group having so proven itself, would then make it a point to put increased revenues in their budget as a requirement for passage? Just what the hell are they going to do with increased revenue, when the problem is spending in the first place.

The answer to both questions is so resoundingly obvious it requires no response other than incredulity that anyone with half a brain would fall out of their chair with laughter at the possibility of “bipartisanship”.

If this actually was to take place...

“Wouldn’t bother me if the Republicans raise taxes on millionaires as long as they get cuts in exchange. Of course, I’m not a millionaire.”

I’ll bet the 1/16 Jews in 1930s Germany said something similar.

The old Wimpy. “I’ll pay you tomorrow for a hamburger today” gambit. And the RINO’s fall for it every time. Why? Because they are really Progressives in disguise.

And???
I know you can give us more clarity instead of more mass paste up.

At this point in the game, I have doubts that the Pubbies would get suckered in quite so easily, rather they actually may be rope-a-doping the dem/libs into some forehead slamming.
