HBO has apologized for a scene in its hit fantasy series Game of Thrones that showed the decapitated head of former President George W. Bush on a pike and said the scene will be removed from future DVD releases, the Web site io9.com reported.
...
The last head on the left is George Bush, the producers say in the audio commentary. George Bushs head appears in a couple beheading scenes. Its not a choice, its not a political statement. Its just, we had to use what heads we had around.

So they just happened to have a dismembered head of George Bush just lying around?
This is bizarre to say the least. I guess they didn’t have a severed head of obammy lying around...............
This is bizarre to say the least. I guess they didn’t have a severed head of obammy lying around...............
Well at least they didn’t put a bulls eye on it.
its not a political statement. Its just, we had to use what heads we had around————??????
It IS a political statement.
And HBO is lying. “heads lying around”. Uh-huh. Yeah, we believe you. Not.
They talk like Obama.
All the people who lose their heads in the show are men of courage and honor, so in a way it is a compliment.

They’re lyingg. They made their statement, had their giggle, and now they’re trying to CYA to prevent hurting sales.
Any conservative that continues to watch this show is an idiot.
Just another reason to hate HBO.
That is so incredibly phony.... happened to have a head of George Bush lying around.
Why don’t they happen to have a head of Obama or Saddam Hussein or Ben Laden?
If anyone knows anything about video-game design, we certainly do know that ^everything^ is approved at the highest level. No design aspect goes without scrutiny to avoid copyright issues and to maintain secrecy until release.
In short, they are lying...again.
To make amends just replace the Bush head with Obama’s head in all future releases.
Fair and balanced - it’s the right thing to do.
Somehow I don’t think HBO meant it as a compliment.
Not good enough.
HBObama needs to be punished the way Rush and Breitbart have been.
Wow.
If I hadn’t already canceled HBO, I would cancel it.
HBO (as a whole and individually) hasn’t 1% of the class G. W. Bush has.
HBO: “Well, we would have used Obama’s head, but his ears are too damn big. We would have used Mrs. Obama’s head, but, hell, we couldn’t even look at that! So we decided to use Bush’s head, because, you know, we just had one of those lying around!”
That is the fate of good and honorable men under the reign of the tyrant bastard Joffrey.
Look what happened to Eddard “Ned” Stark. All for trying to obey the law and the dictates of honor.
When ever they cannot explain, they always have in reserve...
Must be Bush’s fault!
Like we believe that BS!
It wasn’t a mistake or an oversight, it was deliberate and calculated.
Programmers don’t do this kind of stuff by accident.......................
I was an “extra” in a movie once, and I had to sign a whole pile of release documents before the filming began. Why didn’t HBO need a release form signed in order to use Bush’s head in the show?
If it was an Obama head they would be talking to the Secret Service and the media would be having a fit.
HBO = HAIL BARRACK OBAMA!.................
It was not a mistake....Put a FAKE head of obama on a pike and we’ll call it even....
“Did you ever think how this ACCIDENTAL disrespect never happens to Obama...”

Hey man, it ain’t cool to pick on the hip negro.
“Cool” is a primary concern for these vacuous, puerile Communists. Can’t you just hear them snickering amongst themselves, like pimply-faced pubescent punks, over their juvenile little Bush trick?
“Its not a choice, its not a political statement. Its just, we had to use what heads we had around.
Sure—tell me they didn’t have any oobama heads around.
I think we have bigger things to be outraged about.
Why does the left hate Bush? Simple. He refused to step-down and hand Gore the election.
Make no mistakes, they hate Reagan as much, he simply has been out of office too long to blame everything on him. Look at many leftists rants and they will still invoke Reaganomics as the “death of democracy”. Liberalism really is a mental disorder.
Why look for trivial things to be upset about?
You don't have enough real things to be upset about?
The worldwide left’s ongoing “political double standard” is, profoundly, sick! I wish that there would be a way to end this ongoing trend, asap and for always.
Sorry Lib sobs. Never miss a chance.
The implication to me is that imam obama would carry it out.
And where is the free visit from the Secret Service to HBO?
Is this not considered a threat to the former President?
And just why would they just happen to have a head of George Bush just lying around? What was the original purpose of said head?
Another MSM accidental coincidence.
Like the clipped Zimmerman tape.
Wait wait wait, where are those who were certain just yesterday that people were making a big deal out of nothing, that we were ‘seeing’ what we wanted to see!
Juveniles at HBO stike again, how unexpected!
That’s cool...Sean Hannity still supports HBO.

Taken in its totality it's clear that a vindictive campaign of demonization has been conducted against the man that could clearly lead a deranged individual to murder Bush with a demented sense of righteous vindication as if trying to kill Hitler in 1944. Such a threat to Bush's life is still a possibility even long after the man left office, particularly when SS protection is slated to end in another six years.
That IS a big deal, IMHO.
As Rush often says, 'it's the little things'.
