Israel Moves Forward In Creating National Cyber Bureau

By Israel News Agency Staff

Jerusalem, Israel --- June 12, 2012 ... The following was communicated by the Israel Prime Minister's media adviser to the Israel News Agency.

Israel National Cyber Bureau head Dr. Evyatar Mataniah recently attended Tel Aviv University's 2nd Annual International Cyber Conference and noted that Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has approved the budget and work plan for the Bureau, which was established at the beginning of the year.

One of the aforesaid plans is the establishment in Israel of a national cyber situation room, which will construct a national assessment among the various organizations and constitute the beginning of a defensive layer on the state level.

The Cyber Bureau, which is focused on building a national cybernetic defense concept, is advancing national-level regulation on the issue of information security, which will lead to raising the level of cybernetic defense in Israel. To this end, a committee was established for representatives from all sectors, which will outline the main directions in the regulatory field.

The National Cyber Bureau will also begin the process of organizing the security field in cooperation with the security companies in the market, and will promote cooperation with international organizations so that Israel might accede to all of the important international treaties.

Dr. Mataniah emphasized the importance of links between academia, industry and the Cyber Bureau in order to create a national growth engine in the cybernetic field, and added that the Bureau attributes great importance to encouraging growth in the cybernetic industry and is promoting cooperation in the sector.

In recognition of the importance of human capital, the Bureau, in conjunction with the Israel Science and Technology Ministry, is investing NIS 50 million in scholarships and research in the cybernetic field in order to place Israel as a global leader in this field.

Whoo boy, you’d think your name was Obama. Do you have a birth certificate? In HTML?

Mesta - the Israel News Agency gets direct feed from the Israel Government Press Office as we are an accredited news agency.
But that is not the issue.
The issue here is your abuse for which is now being reported.

Funny thing, you seem to be enjoying a weird rep around the web. Almost like Polland. How many times have you tried to peddle yourself on Wiki?

Stay on topic and please stop violating FR TOS or you will find yourself banned.

The topic is you using FR like a parasite for personal gain, in ways that are incredibly damaging to the forum.

Now, I’ve had an idle glance at your shenaningans, but from what I can see you’re begging money for your PR-effort, at the same time pushing a “news agency” that seems to be only yourself, running a “finance agency” which on closer look would seem to be serving in a dozen areas of finance expertise (again, solo).

But then, we all know you’re an old Obama activist. It’s what you do.

I have been on FR for more than 6 years than you. In that time I have contributed both content and money. What is your purpose here? Cyberbulling? Personal attacks?
No one is begging for money - but there are many companies raising capital from Facebook to AOL. It's called business.
The INA has been accredited with the GPO since 1995 and has a volunteer staff of 12 journalists.

Lastly, I do not support Obama but I do support you being banned from FR for your only contributions - personal attacks.

Oh, come off it. I seem to remember you admitting to being an Obama voter not terribly long ago. As for the begging part, I also think that posting “please gimme money” screeds on FR is against the rules. Were you told when the thread was pulled?
