Amnesty? Immunity? No, Napolitano Calls It a 'Deferred Action Process' By Susan Jones June 15, 2012 Subscribe to Susan Jones's posts
(CNSNews.com) - President Obama will discuss his administration's apparent end-run around Congress on immigration policy at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, straight from the Homeland Security News release:
Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano today announced that effective immediately, certain young people who were brought to the United States as young children, do not present a risk to national security or public safety, and meet several key criteria will be considered for relief from removal from the country or from entering into removal proceedings. Those who demonstrate that they meet the criteria will be eligible to receive deferred action for a period of two years, subject to renewal, and will be eligible to apply for work authorization.
Our nations immigration laws must be enforced in a firm and sensible manner, said Secretary Napolitano. But they are not designed to be blindly enforced without consideration given to the individual circumstances of each case. Nor are they designed to remove productive young people to countries where they may not have lived or even speak the language. Discretion, which is used in so many other areas, is especially justified here.
DHS said it will continue to focus its enforcement resources on removing people who pose a national security or public safety risk, including immigrants convicted of crimes, violent criminals, felons, and repeat immigration law offenders. "Todays action further enhances the Departments ability to focus on these priority removals," it said. (Napolitano was discussing the immunity program on a conference call with reporters that began at 10:30 a.m.)

Obama, Holder and Napolitano are potentially adding 800,000 new voters for Democrats.
Without voter ID, who's going to stop the current illegals from voting?
Aren’t there any laws about these matters?
Could it be that the administration just gets to make this up as they go? WTF?
There is to be absolutely no deportation of any illegal now, unless they are a convicted criminal, period.
Just come in by the millions, commit crimes and when we catch the criminals maybe we’ll do something, otherwise we are now open as the official Disneyworld for everyone from everywhere else, no questions asked.
I’ve decided that I want gun laws enforced in a ‘firm and sensible manner’. In my case, I’ve decided that means that I can have a SBR, full auto with a suppressor, and I don’t want a tax stamp or government approval.
If laws enacted by congress aren’t needed for a change in immigration laws, then WTF, I have as much standing as this idiot does. I say we just have all laws be subject to the individual’s interpretation. Congress needs to set their foot down, and remove these autocrats from office. They don’t just decide what and how they are going to enforce or not enforce laws. Their RESPONSIBILITY is to enforce them as written, not decide what to enforce. Get them out....NOW
States can’t enforce immigration laws, or purge voter roles, Black panther members can guard polls, and now millions of illegals can stay, take jobs (and vote). Is that about the size of it?
‘Deferred Action Process’
Translation: Failiure to execute the law of the land.
PLEASE follow this. It is NOT 800,000.
Those are the over 16 year olds who came here as kids. BUT they are not going to deport ANY kids, which means they are not deporting any family with kids!
AND they are “focusing” on criminals and terrorists only.
It’s not 800,000, it is all of them. Every single one is being allowed to remain, you just can’t legally work till you are 16.
America has been disassembled, it’s gone.
Laws? We don’t need no stinking laws.
Why not call it a “pathway to non-deportation”? That way there would be FReepers lining up to back her for the GOP nomination.
To say I hate this so-called president and his criminal regime would be an understatement. Where is the outrage from Republican congressmen?
‘Deferred Action Process’? Try “Tax increase”, cause somebody has to pay for education, healthcare, free lunch programs, Obamaphones, and all the entitlements these 20 millions will require.
Yea.. stay home because Romney is worse..
Let me help you.
Question:Is there any Republican with a set who can stop this King/ Dictator??
Question:Is this grounds for impeachment?
Explanation:If he were Republican it would be a no-brainer.
Question:Are there any Dems with a conscience who will go against this corrupt Admin?
Answer: Are you kidding.??
