A body was found this morning in the thick brush near the Hamburg home of Dr. Timothy Jorden, the trauma surgeon named as a person of interest in Wednesday's shooting of Jacqueline Wisniewski in Erie County Medical Center, law enforcement officials said.
"We believe it is him," a source said.
The body was found in a ravine off a footpath along 18 Mile Creek, dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
A source close to the case said U.S. Marshals, state police and other police officials have been searching a wooded area near his home for past two days.
State Police were in the area this morning with bloodhounds, neighbors said.
Police had been searching for Jorden since shortly after the shooting and described him as armed and dangerous. Officers told neighbors this morning not to worry because Jorden was dead.
Whoever hired this POS ought to be jailed.
He probably wasn’t a POS when he was hired.
Lots of wrong choices that led to the likely conclusion.
Sorry ladies but none of you are worth throwing my life away over and I’m dirt poor.
He saved the taxpayers some money.
I feel the same way about guys. Last time I cried over a man was I’m 1978.
For some reason, the whack-jobs in this area tend to get riled up when stories like this happen.
When police were watching the Doctors house, they encountered a police officer on sick leave leaving the house with $5k, a Rolex, and a gun.
Then, yesterday, there was a “suspicious package” found in the hospital which of course caused the “code yellow” bomb threat to initiate. I had the misfortune of being at the hospital for a Doctors appointment at the time and I believe the package was actually found in a bathroom less than 20 yards from where I was waiting.
One lesson to be drawn, other than that he was a whack-job as some have said, is the hold that the human heart exerts over us. I have always reminded the high school students I have taught that love is not an emotion lightly engaged. It would seem the majority of murders are the result of love gone bad. Not the trifle that our sex-driven media would have us believe, a simple feeding of an appetite, along the lines of enjoying a good meal.
He was a wife beater, and I am going out on a limb here, but he was probably an Affirimative Action Med Student.

What this tells me is that the cop and the doctor were friends; the doctor couldn’t commit suicide himself, so he paid the cop $5K and the Rolex to pull the trigger for him.
Tell that to the WOMAN THAT HE KILLED!!
Are you really that bitter that you don't consider that he threw a woman's life away? Please tell me how her murder and his suicide was her fault.
DOCTOR KILLED WOMAN.
DOCTOR WANTED TO COMMIT SUICIDE, BUT COULDN’T DO IT.
DOCTOR PAID COP ($5K & Rolex) TO KILL HIM.
SHE KILLED HIM,
SHE KILLED HERSELF.
She done him wrong, he done kilt her, then he kilt hisself. Who hasn’t heard this story before?
Is case you forget, it's all about diversity. We have to treat everyone equality.
white guys have to go to a foreign country to get into college, med school, etc that fast.....and at that age....
sorry for the rant...we have very smart black drs where I work....but they didn't start out going to school at age 36...
