WSOC is apologizing for a series of stories covering a controversial high school yearbook photo that may or may not have shown an 18-year-old student lifting up her graduation gown to flash her vagina.
In an all-caps message on its website this week, the Charlotte ABC-affiliate issued a formal apology and retracted all of the stories published on the site related to the photo.
WE OPENLY AND FULLY APOLOGIZE TO THE YOUNG LADY SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH AND TO OUR READERS, the post states, listing a series of statements contained in the stories that the station now admits were made in error.

Same liberal station, WSOC, on their web site has an area called "Links We Like", and one of those links is one ripping Mitt Romney for not "standing up" to Donald Trump.
I smell a lawsuit.

that may or may not have shown an 18-year-old student lifting up her graduation gown to flash her vagina. May or may not? The unedited pic shows full detail..let's just say this woman has no carpeting....

I guess the young woman forgot that her decision will follow her for years.

She did not show her vagina she showed her pubis area.
Man, when will people get body parts correct.
I graduated in 1965, Santa Barbara CA.
We were sitting in a stadium, the audience was in front of us and the podium speakers had their backs to us, but turned sideways when they handed out the called the names.
The last person called was Wendy.
She took her diploma turned our way (no one else could see her) she opened her gown flashed the crowd - she was completely naked. Needless to say we cheered and stood up as she closed her robe and walked back to the stadium.
The audience thought we were cheering because we had graduated.
The flash is not new.

Indeed. However, there were no digital cameras then and you didn’t have the internet.

I guess the young woman forgot that her decision will follow her for years. First rule of photography: Don't photograph anything you don't want everybody to see forever.

True. A bunch of guys got in those photo booths and took pictures of their manhood and past them around to the girls.
Normally we just threw them on the ground after laughing.
The point is that kids will use what is at their disposal to be kids.

She did not show her vagina she showed her pubis area.I'll take you word for it; I am not going to view the photo.
Considering how obsessed the "education" establishment are with despoiling the childhoods of school children with total sexual knowledge at the earliest age, it is amazing how often this error is made.
Either that or the girl is a contortionist.

The flash is not new. My Grandfather always said... "there is NOTHING NEW under the sun"...
The older I get, the more I understand what he was talking about!

And somebody put that in the school yearbook?!
If so, arrest the school officials for production of porn.

[...] lifting up her graduation gown to flash her vagina. Anatomic misnomer.

The vagina is internal. Unless she had a mirror or laying on her back you can’t see her vagina.
The picture I saw she lifted up her gown and you saw her pubis area.
