It’s said that desperate times call for desperate measures. But in these dismal economic and political times, the Obama administration has called for unlawful measures that grant amnesty to potentially millions of illegal immigrants.
Today, Janet Napolitano, secretary of Homeland Security, announced immunity from deportation for illegal immigrants who were brought to the United States before they turned 16 and who are younger than 30 – among other criteria. They can apply for a two-year work permit that can be renewed indefinitely.
The decision is not just a breach of faith with the American people. It blatantly ignores the rule of law that is the foundation of our democracy.
In an interview with Univision television earlier this year, President Obama said that he can’t just “waive away the laws that Congress put in place” and that “the president doesn’t have the authority to simply ignore Congress and say, ‘We’re not going to enforce the laws that you’ve passed.’”
But ignore Congress and the Constitution is exactly what the president has done – and this isn’t the first time. Throughout the past three years of his administration, Mr. Obama has waived applying several of our immigration rules and has refused to enforce other immigration laws....

I thought the Clinton impeachment was ridiculous spiteful overkill. Many here will flame me now, but this move by Obama is exactly why the impeachment clause was placed in the Constitution. Article II sec 3 states that the job of the President is to see that the laws are faithfully executed. With this action he is in violation of the Constitution of the United States of Amerca. The precedent here is terrifying no matter what Party holds the WH. This cannot be allowed to stand. No POTUS can be allowed to decide what laws he will carry out. Impeach Now!!
I don't know...he'll disappear onto the golf course. He won't owe anyone anything and he won't need to bribe anyone else.
Please get it Right Mr. Smith because someone can be found that will. Maybe folks need to "heckle" fence sitters every time it's projected. Wake up the dormant by reciting the Pledge. The left hate that. It's one of their goals to eliminate/pervert it.

The Supreme Court refused to listen to any case that Challenged Obama’s right to be President.
If we ignore all of the Birther evidence one thing stand out. He is not a Natural Born Citizen, as his father was African.
The courts have ignored that. Our politicians of both parties have ignored that.
He has not obeyed his oath to stand up for America’s laws. He ignored DOMA, He ignored subpoenaes in Louissianna, He and Hoilder are ignoring the Congress in Fast & Furious, He has sued a sovereign State —Arizona. he has ordered Florida not to clean up their voter rolls.He has used the EPA to full fill the Carbon credit scam. He has destroyed our military.He told the Congress they were in recess and appointed people and laughed at the Congress.
Why should he worry about granting his own Amnesty? No one has ever bothered to hold him in check before and they won’t now.
The Republicans will fold up like a cheap suit.
I haven’t been listening to the news. This has been out all day, has anyone heard a Republican response?
