the law doesn’t “allow” this blasphemy: IT MANDATES that all churches do it.

Yes, the article is deliberately and purposefully vague.

Denmark is officially Lutheran, so this would be the Lutheran church. From what I can see, the Lutheran church is required to do these because they are the ‘official’ church. Changing this would require disestablishment, which is what is coming next.

Frankly, it would be a blessing for the Lutherans in Denmark to be disestablished. They’ll be stripped of what they do received in benefits and still required to do what the state tells them.

Actually, it appears they are independent ‘non-denominational’, but they were established by Frederick III King of Denmark back in the 1640’s as Lutheran by charter.

Logical endpoint of liberalism, of which Protestant Christianity is one of the main contributing philosophical trend. The Scandinavian long dead are probably spinning in their grave regretting their conversion from the pagan Viking religion, which whatever other faults it had didn’t mandate gay marriage.
