Since you occasionally express a love of the Constitution how does this reflect equal protection under the law?

Just cut spending...your gimmicks won’t ever happen

Please. No tax gimmicks, just fire some large fraction of them.

No, it’s not possible right now, it may never be possible, but that’s how it gets done if it ever gets done.

I keep hearing congress-critters say that in addition to cutting spending, taxes need to be raised. That we just need to "compromise."

I can agree with them. I would be willing to accept tax hikes along with spending cuts. But something that's always been proven to fail are tax increases now, in exchange for promised spending cuts sometime in the future. And I for one am tired of feeling like Charlie Brown kicking a football held by Lucy.

I propose that we start with spending cuts, in return for promised tax increases, sometime in the future. As with the dems and their "spending cuts," these future tax increases probably won't happen.
