Obama's message of divide and blame (by Bobby Jindal)
CNN ^ | June 15, 2012 | Bobby Jindal

In 2008, President Obama campaigned on a message of "Hope and Change." Thursday, speaking in Ohio, the president announced his re-election campaign message of "Divide and Blame."

The president had to give another economic speech, nearly an hour long, because he has not given us economic results. America does not need excuses; we need leadership.

President Obama cannot ask Americans if they are better off than they were four years ago, and so is trying to blame others for his record. Over half a million fewer Americans have jobs today than when he took office.

...

He believes that this nation was built by the government, and that more government spending is the key to our future.

Simply put Obama is a child. A whiny, feckless ,petulant , arrogant little brat who blames others for his own failures and heaps the laurels of others successes on himself. Obama isn't a president, he's a warning. A warning that unheeded will pull this great nation into an abyss.

I think you are underestimating Obama. Take another look at his actions, he is not naive, he is deliberately destroying the US.

You nailed it, FRiend! I just hope it's not too late - He's a black hole and he's pulling us into eternal night with reckless speed!

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

On 6Nov2012 – I’m writing in Ronald W. Reagan for President – his mouldering corpse will do more for our Nation than either of the major party nominees!

He’s trying to destroy America but we, all of us real Americans are stronger than he is. He’s too slick by half. “Even by victory are victors undone’’. This punk is going down in November.

It seems in the last few weeks that CNN has had a lot more conservative op-eds on its site. A change in course, possibly?

This President's pandering to what, in his arrogance, he sees as various sets and sub-sets of potential voters is condescending and insulting to each individual in all the groups and an obvious thinly-disguised effort to "buy" votes.

Have Cubans have risked their lives in leaky boats in order to become "purchased" by a big government overlord? Have Mexican citizens endured being packed in vehicles, or risked dying in the desert in order to become indebted to an ideology and an individual who disrepects and finds a way around America's Constitutional rules for legislation to protect them once they get here?

Dividing and conquering is a tool of tyrants who want power for themselves.

Bringing individuals together around a common passion for individual liberty, a "People's" government whose Constitution strictly divides, separates, limits, and checks and balances the powers those "People" grant to their elected representatives in government is the philosophy upon which America was formed.

Thomas Jefferson, the Author of the Declaration of Independence, said that it was an expression of "the American mind" of 1776.

As American citizens, we need to rediscover the ideas and principles underlying that Declaration and Constitution, come together around them, and firmly reject anyone arrogant enough to attempt to impose upon that great edifice of liberty an ideology which separates, divides, and classifies us in order to break the "chains" (Jefferson) of that Constitution which were intended to "bind them down from mischief."
