Changed my mind on the LCP. Going to go with the Keltec P-3AT at 8.3 ozs. Wanted their P32 at 6.6 ozs but commie Merryland outlaws their sales.

I purchased one of these recently, and was very pleased. Whatever their cushioning material is, it works! Only .5" thick, but cut the felt recoil WAY down on my Mosin-Nagant.

I think you will like the P-3AT. I have one, and I think it serves the purpose it was designed for. Minimum self-defense weapon that is easily totally concealable.
When I first got it, on the reccomendation of another FReeper I had a gunsmith do a "fluff and buff" after I had put a couple of boxes of ammo through it. It hasn't given me any jams, feed problems, etc. Let us know what you think of yours when you've put it into service.

Being as lightweight as it is, I’ll admit it does bark a bit. Fortunately, the .380 round is mild enough that it won’t abuse you like say, a .357 airweight would!

HMMM. I think a hundred rounds at one sitting might blister ya, and it would for sure give your wrist a workout. Oh, that reminds me. Be sure not to limp wrist the little devil. Give it a good strong grip to resist and it will do just fine.

You can limp wrist a Glock and it will jam too. Watched several YouTubes on the P-3AT and it didn’t seem that jumpy, I’m a little disappointed it’s how you say. BTW, what is the trigger pull like? Is it a long pull? And does it have “stop rest” before it fires like a Glock?

That's 405 grains of projectile running at 1675+ FPS.

It gets less fun to shoot the older I get.
