EXCLUSIVE MONDAY PREVIEW | OPINION

Panic sets in at the White House

By John E. Sununu | JUNE 18, 2012

President Obama said, “the private sector is doing fine.”

It’s been a tough couple of weeks for President Obama, one of those stretches where everything seems to go south at once. The economy is soft, his poll numbers are down, and Europe has the markets on edge; Romney is even beating him in the money race. What was once hailed as personal confidence — or condemned as arrogance — is long gone. Panic has set in, and it’s making Team Obama do strange and disturbing things.

In Wisconsin, the result was merely a bit of comic relief. Fearful of making a personal appearance in a losing cause, Obama couldn’t even bring himself to phone it in. Instead, he packed the power of the presidency into a 95-character tweet endorsing Tom Barrett’s challenge to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. Barrett, a plainspoken former congressman, is far too nice to speak the truth: Thanks for nothing.

Next came a more pronounced gaffe: Obama’s statement at a press conference that “the private sector is doing fine.” Panic can make anyone say crazy things, but blurting out irrational statements isn’t exactly ideal for a president of the United States.

Aides tried desperately to walk things back, but the damage was done precisely because it revealed an element of truth about Obama................

Barry is in a panic because its becoming clear to the masses of sheeple what we knew back in 2008: they guy is in completely over his head. Bill Clinton is right. He’s an “amateur” that fooled a lot of voters in 2008 because the media helped him, but he’s not fooling nearly as many in 2012.

And June is not over yet.

Still to come—Sheriff Joe’s press conference on the latest finds about Zippy birth, and the Supreme Court rulings on Arizona HB1070 and on Obamacare.

Pray hard, call your reps tomorrow and demand impeachment proceeedings if Zippy doesn’t rescind his order on illegal aliens, and make popcorn—lots of it.

Thank you, Patton!

Romney should be done at convention if God is pleased to save us from another morally deprived abortion loving president partial to adopting innocent children out to queers.

Thanks be to God for the Ron Paul front! Whatever they can do to explode the GOPE and their nominee is a heck of a lot more than we conservatives bothered to do.

They are going to HOLD THE DANG LINE. We imploded, compromised and cooperated with the RINO plantation owners.

Good for RP! We may get a convention and NOT a coronation!

NEWT/Walker, 2012

American has lost its credit rating.
Unemployment has been double what it should be for 3 ½ years.
Businesses are stuck in limbo worrying about how to pay for socialized health care.
Our natural resources are going to waste while we support hostile and oppressive governments by buying their crude oil, then paying extra taxes when we purchase gas that is refined here at inflated costs because of misguided environmental regulations.
We have an Energy Policy developed by non elected bureaucrats that is destroying our economy.
For 3 ½ years we’ve had no budget at all for managing our government.
Over FIVE TRILLION dollars of borrowed money has been frittered away on political paybacks and insider deals and no economic improvement has been seen.
We have troops dying in Afghanistan and Iraq, but no plan about what to do in either place.

meanwhile…

What is the President doing?

He has held 150 election fundraisers, jetted to Hollywood to raise money and make numerous appearances on late night talk shows.
He created his own trade treaty allowing foreign firms to ignore American Law.
This week he ignored congress to create his own program of amnesty and declared a national Gay and Lesbian month during a special event at the White House for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender supporters.
...and he continues to enjoy his time on the golf course.

These are the things he cares about.

Yeah, I’ll take the guy who’s jumped the shark on a few issues over the windsock. I even had a dem come to my door to campaign for him because of the economy.

Let’s cut to the chase. While the electorate was ready for a change in direction in ‘08, Obama was an underqualified liberal and the thing that put him over the top was his being black.

Fastforward to today and here we are fearful that his blackness may reelect him. Were he not black, his performance and the state of the economy would guarantee the loss of any other incumbent.

Taken together, they expose a White House and a campaign that are adrift, out of momentum, and out of touch.

Sununu left out crooked as a dogs hind leg.

Zer0 is grasping at straws and isn't gonna find any because he can't throw any more money at the problems.

Yes Romney sucks.
Got a better viable option?
Or would you rather see another four years of Obama?

"The private sector is doing fine. Where we're seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government."

Look at the next sentence, it was no gaffe, he meant exactly that. All the Democrats and Economist that have gone along with this economic plan have the same impaired resume that no serious employer is going to consider.

You mean a dem campaigned for whom? Newt? Walker?

How cool.

I believe Obama is done. This was NO year to have to nominate a socialist on a Republican ticket.

If Ron Paul & Company can correct that, I’m all for it.

June 3, 2008 Obama's nomination victory speech, St. Paul "I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal" I expect to see him soon in front of TOTUS with a long white beard and holding a pair of stone tablets.
