School today is indoctrination and not education. It gets worse every year. Thirty years ago it was better education.

I might get them for my three year old son if it would keep him from losing his sneakers!

On the other hand, anyone who wears these ridiculous shoes can experience the joy of being a free man by taking them off whenever he feels like it.

So Black people are the ONLY ones who can wear these shoes, is that correct? If only Black people can wear these shoes then perhaps there should be some reflection, but if people other than Black kids are allowed to wear these shoes, someone please tell me how Black ancestry is being targeted?

We are a nation of the perpetually offended.

Simple, market- based solution: If you dont like them - dont buy them. If the idiots who like and want this sort of item purchase them— more power to the marketing dept of Adidas.

Nike also can’t wait to get the thug elements in the NBA and NFL on their team

They know their images sell in the “Inner Cities”

Sometimes you can’t help but sour on some Capitalists

It makes sense to me.

Some fools will camp outside overnight or for days waiting to be the first to snatch a new sneaker off the shelf and then fight, maim each other to get in the door.

People pay stupid amounts of money for these shoes, even when they need the money for other things—like food.

People kill over designer sneakers.

Shackles seem the PERFECT addition to a designer sneaker.

Heck, rap songs use words that are supposed to be ever so offensive, maybe shackles work the same way.

We aren’t building better products, just better consumers.

True that. He comes from a long line of muslim slavers.

1. I’m offended that morons have riots waiting in line to buy sneakers that some other moron has put his name on.

2. I’m offended that our sense of value and worth is so degraded that people are willing to pay three or four times what a shoe is worth, just because it is trendy.

3. I’m offended that a huge number of these shoes are purchased with welfare money extracted from my pocket.

And as far as this stupid shoe goes, anyone dumb enough to be part of one, two, or three above, probably can’t wait to give up their money for this junk. So I guess it’s really just “stupid is as stupid does.”

I'm outraged bigshots in the liberal parties celebrate May Day and wear Mao, Che and Ho t-shirts. It's obscene. Communists slaughtered upwards of 100 million innocent people. Decent folks everywhere are outraged libs celebrate anything about that. How do we get the MSM to cover it above the fold?... Oh.

It is nothing more than another vapid distraction to divert our attention from the real and dangerous actions of the President and the government.

Do not be diverted or distracted from the real issues.

This is just another attempt to claim something that is not unique to blacks nor a racist symbol as if it is one.

For example, since when did the noose become a racist symbol? As if only black people were hanged?

Shackles are not the equivalent of swastikas. Nooses are not the equivalent of swastikas.

Another day, another idiotic ‘racial grievances’ claim.

Maybe Al Sharpton can make a quick buck on this one. Fools...

>>>They are ugly.
Anyone really training wouldn’t be wearing something around their ankles.
It’s a gimmick and it will sell shoes.
And people are to damn sensitive, just waiting to be offended.<<<

The shackles make the shoes look ugly. The shoes themselves look pretty good to me.

Are the shackles actually meant to be worn as part of the shoes or are they part of the packaging? I agree that I can’t see anyone actually wearing the shackles while training or competing in sports.

I agree that many people are way to sensitive and looking for a reason to be offended. I can kind of understand taking offense to these shoes, only because the gimmick is so ugly, so ridiculous, and such poor marketing, that you either have to believe that the people who designed and approved this are racists or complete morons. I vote for complete morons, but since as anyone who has seen “Ruthless People” knows, “Complete morons are rare”, the racsim explanation is not totally far fetched.

At least they are being honest on how they view their biggest fans who participate in the annual violent shoe fettish.

This is how fascist global corporation toadies view materialistic consumers in America. Conservatives seem to automatically trust these animals in the name of free markets because the opposite - the Marxists - are so overtly ravishing.

Corporations, like the politicans and global power they have purchased, have rejected the American conservatives’ third way - constitutional freedom’s ideals and free markets. They are just as ravishing and hateful to human life and dignity as are the Marxists. We must not let either master wannabe net us.

One outraged Irish American claimed it was the equivalent of calling a shoe ‘the Al Qaeda’

Who calls themselves "Irish American?" I certainly don't, and I am of Irish ancestry...

But this goes to show, it takes a White person to teach a Black that they've been discriminated against!
