Obama's move on immigration is an unconstitutional disaster for the unemployed
Numbers USA ^ | June 18, 2012 | Roy Beck

President Obama thwarted the will of Congress and shunned the 20 million under-employed and unemployed Americans by announcing he will grant work permits to (2 million to 3 million illegal immigrants)

.

This appears to be an unconstitutional fiat that not only usurps congressional authority to set immigration policy but directly contradicts what Congress has already decided. The president suggests that his new policy is designed to enact as much of the DREAM Act amnesty as possible because Congress hasn't acted on its own. But Congress indeed has acted -- three times in votes that rejected granting these illegal aliens the legal residency and work permits that the president now says he will deal out all by himself.

This is a knee-jerk response to pro-amnesty interest groups that have attacked Mr. Obama with an intense, well-funded public relations campaign urging him essentially to nullify congressional immigration laws because supporters of amnesty know that the elected representatives of the American people won't approve amnesties any more. Until today, the president had said that he couldn't just overturn immigration laws on his own. His capitulation may provide a short-term political payoff among some special interest groups but in the long term will feed the perception that he is much more interested in currying favor among narrow interest groups than addressing the needs of the massive ranks of the unemployed.

The unavoidable fact is that Mr. Obama's announced executive amnesty will increase the supply of legal workers to compete for jobs with the 20 million Americans who can't find a job or have been forced into part-time work. The president may think he can repeal the laws of Congress but he can't repeal the law of supply and demand.

I was shopping today and someone was complaining about someone she knew who had two children in Mexico and two here. Sounds like a personal problem.

"Has Obama committed a crime by doing this?"

Probably an unconstitutional usurpation of Congressional authority, but Congress will not confront him. And further, I bet that Obama proxy groups will be right there to register these illegals to vote when they get their work permits. It doesn't matter that it it is illegal and it complements nicely Obama's war against the states trying to eliminate the illegal and dead voters before the Presidential election.

Do not be surprised, if in the near future, the Big Eared Purple Lip Nothing in the WH declares this particular group of illegals immediately eligible for unemployment benefits, even if they have not actually been employed.

Funny thing about obammy’s amnesty deal.
It will hurt unskilled black youth much more harshley than any other group that is looking for work.
They have a higher unemployment rate than nearly any other demograghic with less work skills.
And still blacks will vote for the marxist punk like crazy.

I know the “Women and minorities hardest hit” is normally a bit of sarcasm.

But in this case, it is true.

Is O’Bammy TRYING to instigate rioting among young Black’s who WILL be hardest hit from this policy?
I seriously want to know.

This cannot be what it is claimed, unless it is a plan to incite massive civil unrest prior to the election (Marshall law?), facilitate vote fraud, or both, it makes no sense.

But it IS clearly illegal.
It’s past time for congress to redress that “Equal powers” of our THREE branches of government, “President” is not to equal “Dictator” via executive orders!

Obamster seems really sure of his reelection to pull something like this or he’s counting on one heck of an October surprise. I can’t believe he could be so out of touch.

I’ve been reading and hearing this is unconstitutional all over the place, Rubio just today on Hannity.

Well, didn’t these elected folks swear an oath? Something about supporting and defending...

When do we get to impeach ALL of them for dereliction of duty?

What would Obama have to do to get impeached?

I can hardly wait until he issues yet another executive order that will give special benefits to those ILLEGALS who are not employed. After all, it’s not their fault that the economy has gone south with obams’s help.

“What would Obama have to do to get impeached?”

I’m pretty sure he could commit murder and not one person would have the balls to charge him.

The most diabolical aspect of this EO is the distain it shows for Hispanics. Number one, he is opening these illegals up to future prosecution since these ‘amnesties’ by another name are only good for the duration of his time in office or until Congress turns this policy into law, which it has already rejected doing. And number two, it spits on those immigrants who have gone through lawful channels to obtain citizenship or work permits and are now shown to have been played the chumps for abiding by the laws, a typical democrat trick minorities seldom figure out. Let’s hope Hispanics/Latinos are more savvy than other minorities exploited by the democraps.

I shudder to think what that big dog will be. Who’s going to suffer? Who will die? Who will be put on trial and imprisoned? How many? Has to be something really bad. Can a so-called “community organizer” be so clueless? But then, look at the electorate, if almost half of them would still vote for him.

Good. It would serve them right for cheering this president’s disdainful action that THEY clearly know the American people DO NOT WANT.

We don’t need their entitlement attitudes in this country.
