Marco Rubio Not Being Vetted to Be Mitt Romney’s Running Mate
ABC ^

Posted on 06/19/2012 4:12:44 AM PDT by Perdogg

Even before the Republicans chose a presidential nominee it was widely assumed that Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., would be at the top of anybody’s list of vice presidential candidates. The reasons are obvious: Not only is he young, charismatic and wildly popular with conservatives, but he could also help Republicans win a key state (Florida) and make inroads with Hispanics.

Good. First, we should not take ANY conservative (even one who has pro-illegal leanings) out of the Senate. This would be beyond stupid. We need EVERY conservative in the Senate we can muster. Second, we cannot even consider taking a swing-state conservative Gov (Kasich or Walker). Those guys may be needed in the election.

So, honestly people, the best choice is to take a RINO Republican OUT of the Senate in a state where a conservative governor (SC? AZ?) can replace that person with a conservative senator. It's a Two-Fer. We gain a conservative in the senate and remove an obstacle. Then hope Mitt doesn't croak.

What happens if Romney has a stroke or a heart attack?

Rubio won’t be legally capable of taking over the country.

Regardless of who is currently breaking laws in the Whitehouse just for egotism highs America will eventually return to upholding constitutional laws.

I, for one, am sick of seeing Rubio's smug, self satisfied "we're taking over" face.

Rubio is obviously in servitude to Third World federales salivating over billions in US foreign aid Rubio and other vote-crazed pols will handout. We need to find out who is giving Rubio his orders from across the border.

Organized Third World voting blocs and pressure groups are rampaging Capitol Hill with their hands out as we type.

=============================================

Obama's plan says ....illegals will be "immune from deportation" if they have "no criminal history...."

TRYING TO CLEAN UP THEIR LEGAL STATUS IS A BIG BIG PROBLEM:

+++How many forged/faked Social Security numbers do they have?

+++How many fake identities do they have?

+++How many fake identities are they using to take money under false pretenses----riding the US gravy train?

+++Do they have valid drivers' licenses?

+++Have they ever been falsely claimed under different identities on IRS returns for EITC payouts?

REFERENCE----ICE's "documents and benefits fraud task force" found a common practice among "impoverished" illegals is to buy several forged/faked identities for several thousand dollars each----the illegal then votes and rides the US gravy train under several names.

<><> Jose Madrigal---the Washington state rapist--- had some 30 identities. And probably voted and collected US benefits under every single identity.

<><> Another illegal used multiple identites to bilk UI systems of some $3.5 million.

====================================

THANKS, OBAMA, FOR THE NEW VOTING BLOC PRIMED TO TAKEDOWN AMERICA

"Raza Studies" surfaced in AZ achools---it is a virulent anti-America agenda, a bloodthirsty dream by illegals to kill off US citizens:

One Raza Studies textbook titled “Occupied America,” by Rodolfo Acuña, includes a violent and blood- curdling speech given by university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323).

Taken directly from Occupied America (pg. 167): “Supporters would execute all white males over age 16,” (this is AKA the Plan of San Diego).

America- hating Raza Studies teach violence and undermining US ntl security----and preaches the need for Mexico to "re-take seven states in the Southwest...in order to make the SW a Chicano nation.

=====================================================

Adelita Grijalva is the woman on the Arizona school board pimping La Raza indoctrination study programs. in Tuscon schools.

America-hater Adelita is all up in arms about Raza Studies getting tossed via the AZ state legislature's action...Adelita is the daughter of Raul Grijalva (D-AZ-7) who was just narrowly re-elected to our US Congress.

Raul Grijalva is one of Mexico’s most productive and loyal representatives in our Congress....aiding and abetting building a Third World on US soil.

Mmmmmmm....those father daughter chats must be interesting.

=========================================

BTW, threatening to kill someone is a felony in the US----in Mexico it's a lottery winner (/snix).

Rubio is ineligible for the same reason Obama is.

How do you know that? We have yet to see what anything that could pass as authentic by Barack Hussein Obama. Yes, I know what you're saying about Obama's parents but I grew suspicious (very suspicious) when they came out with that PDF of layers less than a week after Hawaii announced they could not find the longform. For all we know, Obama was born outside the country and has spent his life with stolen ssn which by itself is grounds for impeachment and prison time.

Let me see the original document showing me where Obama was actually born and his passport. Then I will conclude whether or not he's as ineligible as Marco Rubio.

At this point I have my doubts about Hussein who needed ABC News remind him 3 times that he's not a Muslem.

The 12th amendment states that the Vice President had to have the same qualifications:

“The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.”

If they did nothing illegal by being illegal than why cant they also say they did nothing illegal by illegally obtaining false IDs, Stolen social security numbers...etc.

Come to think of it...if that's the way it works then Obama himself is in the clear with his own questionable ssn and citizen status.

How convenient!

The Hispanic vote that was lost never was ours to begin with. Those illegals that vote in 2012 have been voting probably before they were 18 years old. That's what being illegal is. You break the law and when you break the law you vote for the party that soft on law breakers - The democrat party.

Obama will gain less than expected from this group and lose more than expected from other groups. Americans (black, whites, asians and legal latinos) are out of work. This will not go over well with them.

In order for Obama to gain from this action he's going to have to make speeches about how he is the one that got them working. THAT is not going to go over very well when unemployed Americans see that.

I’d like to hear more about Governor McDonnell of Virginia. This notion that the party must find an Hispanic VP candidate in order to pander to that group is a total loser. We already know how many votes years of pandering by Juan McCain won in 2008; the lowest Hispanic vote in recent history for a Republican candidate.

And Rubio now looks like panderer #1 as he tries to sell one more poorly disguised amnesty for illegal alien plan. The last thing the party needs is anyone on the ticket pushing amnesty schemes to compete with the Dims for Hispanic votes.

Marco's parents were not American citizens at the time of his birth. Obama’s father also wasn't an American citizen at the time of Obama’s birth. Mr. Obama senior was a Kenyan, a British subject when junior was born. So who cares where junior was born...HE ISN'T QUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT.

First, we should not take ANY conservative (even one who has pro-illegal leanings) out of the Senate.

Senators make terrible Presidents (Harding, JFK, LBJ, Obama) and worse candidates (Stevenson, McGovern, Dole, Kerry, McCain - I'm sure there are others).

There is no Senator - and there is unlikely to be one in the future - who should be seriously considered for POTUS or VP.

Correct.

Cuba makes claim to Marco Rubio as one of their own citizens. Rubio was born to Cuban citizens at the time of his birth. Cuba ONLY sees him as Cuban. They do not recognize Rubio's US 14th Amendment citizenship.

"Dual Nationality

The Government of Cuba does not recognize the U.S. nationality of U.S. citizens who are Cuban-born or are the children of Cuban parents. These individuals will be treated solely as Cuban citizens and may be subject to a range of restrictions and obligations, including military service."....

Source: http://havana.usint.gov/service.html

It's no wonder that Romney would not vet Rubio as a VP since Cuba claims Rubio as their citizen.

The constitution says ‘natural born Citizen’. I was very clear what that was and still is. The immigration act of 1790 made it clear that being born to two US Citizens was the key criteria and would allow one to be ‘considered as’ a natural born Citizen. Note that punctuation (no hyphen) and capitalization of the C in the act were exactly that of the Constitution. Congress wanted to drop the jus soli requirement and rely solely on jus sanguinis. So blood is thicker than dirt when it comes to being an nbC.

The situation with Rubio and Jindal, who I really like as well, is probably much more cut and dry than Obama’s.

Both of their parents were not yet US citizens at the time of there birth. So their parentage citizen status is better defined than Obama.

I think if the Obama case ever got into court on its merits they would rationalize that a US citizen mother gives him jus sanguinis. But that case can not be made for Rubio or Jindal.

I'm thinking there is an effort to marginalize the constitution's natural born citizen clause.

Several attempts to amend this law before Obozo came onto the scene. Now Rubio, Romney, Jindal are all being groomed for higher office

Rubio is a naturalized citizen.

If you have to look to a law - including the 14th Amendment - you are naturalized and not natural born.

Natural born Citizens have no law that defines their citizenship. Their citizenship is .... natural.

“Then hope Mitt doesn’t croak.”

LOL, Why? Because romney is “severely conservative”? hahahahahahahaha... No... stop.... hahahahahaah... your killing me....

Romney is a socialist. He has declared himself a “progressive” and he has proven it through his deeds as Gov of Mass.

It doesn’t matter who the prick picks as his VP candidate, Im not going to support the SOB, Im not going to vote for him and Ill most likely work against him in the general.

Our ONLY hope here is that the folks that THINK people like me are going to fold and support the bastard because hes not obama, wise the hell up and understand the when we say NO MORE RINOS. THAT is EXACTLY what we mean. The romneybots can pretend to be the “majority” all they want just like the Bolsheviks did, but folks like me are done with socialists in the GOP.

I used to be a “team” player, until I realized that the “teams” were not what I thought they were. I used to think that it was Democrat -vs- Republican but what a lot of us came to realize is that is not the case. The real “teams” are socialist/statists -vs- freedom/limited government. We allowed the GOP to be coopted by the socialists because we were blind to anything other than D -vs- R anything with an “R” after its name was deemed “good” and we followed blindly. How do I know this is true? Because we are on the verge of nominating a SOCIALIST as our candidate for president.

What is the greater danger here?

- The socialists maintaining control of the presidency but losing their foothold on the republican party and losing control of congress.

or

- The socialists maintaining control of the presidency (via their guy with an “R” after his name) and STRENGTHENING their lock on the republican party AND (because of the “team” mentality) short circuiting any opposition from the GOP in congress. Plus, this has the value added benefit of making the socialists true enemy (folks like me) HOMELESS. What homeless army ever won a war?

Understanding the nature of this war and the nature of the enemy I will take the option where socialism is dealt the most damage. This means denying them control of the GOP, strengthening the anti-socialist control within the GOP. Strengthening GOP control of congress and enabling them to oppose everything the socialists attempt to inflict upon us. This also means defeating romney if he is the GOP candidate.

>> I’d like to hear more about Governor McDonnell of Virginia. <<

A good man for Virginia. And maybe a good candidate eventually to replace Mark Warner in the U. S. Senate.

But “Bobby Mack” would be a very weak choice for GOP VP nominee. I think he’s just not ready for prime time on the national stage. Not a forceful speaker — even might be described as mush-mouthed.

Worse, IMO, McDonnell has an unfortunate tendency to commit gaffes when facing hostile interviewers. This characteristic says he probably would be bested in the VEEP debates even by such a klutz as Slowjoe Biden!

Bottom line for me:

Now that Rubio seems to have been put on the side-lines, Scott Walker looks more and more like the best bet.
