Talk-show radio host Rush Limbaugh commented on the action this afternoon, saying, “A bunch of Democrat adults show up to heckle them. ‘You are all gonna burn in hell! Burn in hell!’ That was the reaction to kids singing ‘God Bless the USA.’ Why in the world would that make anybody mad? And the fact that it does tells us a whole lot.”

Yes and no. Initially I thought the same thing, but the big black guy turned and faced into the children and yelled at THEM, “Burn in hell”. It’s possible he meant it toward the adults but he was definitely facing into the kids - he was not facing the adult when he said it. This was all happening while the kids had started singing, then he followed it up with, “That’s sad” meaning their singing and he repeated that to the kids several times. He was a FIRST CLASS DOUBLE A JERK!
I also noticed a cop or a school cop standing in the background who did nothing to put some space between the hecklers and the kids.
The lady who talked later I’m assuming was the school’s principal, because the reporter asked her why the kids weren’t allowd to sing this song in the graduation. Her response was because the words were above the kids heads and they wouldn’t know what they were singing about.
BUT ISN’T THAT THE POINT OF AN EDUCATION??? To teach kids what those words mean? Like the Declaration of Independence, the “Star Spangled Banner” - obviously those words are above kids heads (and her’s as well) so I guess you can’t talk about that at her school either.
By the way, not all public schools are like this idiot principal’s school - that’s her doing that. Thousands and thousands of public schools, both elementary and secondary, perform patriotic songs all the time without any issue of the “words being above their heads”.
This is that idiot principal imposing HER values on all her students and teachers. Get her out of there asap!
Even if a bunch of democrats had kids singing songs about Obama, I would not yell at the kids and tell them to burn in hell. I would let the dems have their thing, then I would have my say. They have a right to have their say, then we are SUPPOSED to be able to do the same thing - I guess not though with that bunch.
If they attend public schools then they are already in hell.

actually, if you watch the video, the kids are Asian/Dominican/white and black.
The main heckler is black, but the vulgar heckler is white.
And there is a poor Asian girl who keeps looking fearfully at the camera at the hecklers, as if she’s afraid they’ll hit her..
Someone needs to do a screen capture and post it.
It really is a mental disease.
I noticed that as well. I do not know why the other adults present would not have stepped between the kids and the demon-ghouls.
I would have stepped between the braying donkeys and the children at the very least. Who screams insanely as children sung? Maniacs, that is who.
