"Could someone please tell me what happens after a person is voted to be in Contempt of Congress? What are the legal consequences and what are the real consequences for Holder? Well, all the cable networks put up a little graphic on their screens - CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS and Holder, depending on what Congress decides, (this will take a couple or several months) files a criminal complaint against him.
Nothing much.
Then his lawyers come in and scream racism - before you know it, Obama asks for his resignation and gives him a blanket pardon.

Not only would it be impossible for Maobama not to know about this, it would be impossible for him not to directly aprove it.

The best I can guess is that nothing will happen in that there would have to be an investigation, done by the Just Us department. Not much doubt about how long that would take and how it would eventually come out.
