LOS CABOS, Mexico President Barack Obama warned Mitt Romney and his advisers to not attack him on foreign policy, telling the press here that we have one president at a time.
Asked about a Romney advisers op-ed in a German newspaper last month critical of Obamas economic plan, Obama argued that theres a history of not letting domestic politics intercede in international conversations.
I would point out that we have one president at a time and one administration at a time, and I think traditionally the notion has been that Americas political differences end at the waters edge, Obama said, speaking at the end of his two-day conference with world leaders here.
But Obama took issue with the Romney campaigns version of discussions.
Id also suggest that he may not have been familiar with what our suggestions to the Germans have been. I think sometimes back home there is a desire to superimpose whatever ideological argument are taking place back home on a very complicated situation in Europe, the president said.
Obama opened the press conference by ticking through progress hed made with European leaders on addressing the debt crisis there, acknowledging that problems on the continent would reverberate in the American economy in ways that could hurt his political chances.
I think its fair to say that any, all these issues, economic issues will potentially have an impact on this election. But thats not my biggest concern right now, Obama said. My biggest concern is the same one Ive had over the last three and a half years.
There remained sticking points, though. Obama admitted that talks with Russia and China had not yet acheieved an international consensus on the future of Syria and President Bashar al-Assad.

You don't have an administration, you have a REGIME!
Note to Romney: “Looks like Barry is signaling he's got a glass jaw when it comes to criticism of his foreign policy. Nail him to the wall with criticism!”
I’m surprised he didn’t sign an executive order forbidding anybody from saying anything negative about him.
Unfortunately we currently do not have a President.
FUBO, you arrogant two faced SOB! This twit had no problem inserting himself into foreign policy while he was a candidate. Remember Germany?
I would point out that we have one president at a time and one administration at a time, and I think traditionally the notion has been that Americas political differences end at the waters edge,
TRADITIONALLY, Presidents reveal their med records and college transcripts. TRADITIONALLY, Presidents don’t go around congress and grant amnesty to a million criminals. TRADITIONALLY, Presidents don’t bow to dictators.
TRADITIONALLY, PRESIDENTS RESPECT THE CONSTITUTION.
F you, you Marxist, Kenyan, Mooslim steaming pantload. We will never forget what you and the Demonratz did to W. If you were in a fight with the Taliban I’d root for the camel humping rag head.... no, the other one.
I remember Germany.
I remember “the war is lost”.
I remember obama voting against the surge.
I remember obama’s a P.O.S.
Does Obama mean it is only Bush? At least Obama keeps saying everything is currently Bush’ responsibility.
Don’t I remember “Office of the President Elect” almost 4 years ago?
Oh, we have a president? Who knew?
Lets serve this POS a heaping helping of Alinsky!
Yeah, I remember Obama criticizing Bush43 on foreign policy all the time especially the Iraq war.
How soon they forget...
World leaders would be well advised to make Obama wait outside while serious talks are going on. The boy king doesn’t know anything about anything.
That picture of the Kenyan would make a great dart board! Heck, you could even get points for hitting those Dumbo sized ears.
Didn’t Clinton criticize our Vietnam policies while studying in Oxford? and Didn’t then Senator Obama attack Bush over Iraq?
Hell I remember him riding in a souped up version of AF1, with something resembling the Presidential seal on the side of it.
