Republican Mitt Romney said on Tuesday his White House campaign was vetting U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida as a potential vice presidential pick, denying a report that Rubio was not being seriously considered as his running mate. "The story was entirely false, Marco Rubio is being thoroughly vetted as part of our process," Romney told reporters outside an ice cream shop in Holland, Michigan, as he wrapped up a five-day, six-state bus tour of battleground states. It was the first time Romney has publicly acknowledged exploring the background of a potential Republican vice presidential

Yeah, go ahead, why don't you read the Constitution and stop mimicking the idiotic drumbeat of the lunatics. You are either a "natural" born citizen, or a "naturalized" citizen. That's it. And until you have a LAW or a COURT ruling to establish a THIRD class of citizenship with it's own separate rights, all you're doing is throwing up mindless speculation.
They will get my vote, but my money will go to support conservative candidates. We need a strong enough conservative house and senate to prevent Mitt and Jose from giving the Rats what they want.
Romney-Rubio.
Yeah, that’s the ticket.
Just how bad can things get in the presidential election this year?
Says who?
There are two people who are tons better on this immigration issue than Marco Rubio. Allen West who is unhappy with Romney’s stance this week and Virgil Goode who is for closing the borders, ending the illegal immigration and having a moratorium on legal immigration. That guy is one of us. Vote Virgil Goode 2012.
Rubio is advocating crime now to justify illegal invasion of our country. I think the Nation has had enough foreign thugs in the White Hut.
Your two people won’t get a squat’s azz of votes for their position, so we will still have a OPEN BORDER situation, while you and those who are holding out for fantasy land keep throwing a monkey wrench to help the RATs continue this debacle. Get your act together. Wise up and stop being so ideologically stuck on a fantasy position that it’s playing right into the hands of the people you hate.
The guy does not know the difference between ILLEGAL immigrant and LEGAL immigrant. They are all the same to him.
Don’t question my principles when yours are based on nothing but speculation. Just because you say it is ‘so’, does not make it ‘so’.
Rubio has a plan, and it’s better than anyone’s right now.
I kills me that people can throw stones and call names, and they are more worried about the people already here than the ones crossing into our border every day.

that is WRONG
Rubio does NOT qualify to be president, so he should NOT be picked for VP
This may just provide cover for Obama
It got ignored, not killed
Rubio has a LOT of support from Cubans in Florida, but in general other Hispanics in that state can’t stand him. I hope Romney’s vetting is thorough in analyzing Rubio’s ability to deliver Florida, or not...
It pains me when foreign hyphenated idenity politicans advocate for the interests of foreigners at the cost of Americans and the US. We can’t really afford any more treason in the White Hut.
He’s the one who said he would break into our country, too, if he wanted our money - not me. He’s a thug.
both of rubio’s parents were still cuban citizens when he was born in miami.
he is a citizen, but not a natural born citizen.
therefore, he is not eligible to assume the office of the president, which is the main function of the VP
If you want to lose the election Mittens then pick Marco.
Hey Guys, give this a whirl..
Maybe Obama changed the illigal immigrant policy for Hispanics for a different reason than we thought....? Maybe it wasn’t to get illegal votes (I crack myself up on that one).
Maybe it was a calculated move to undercut the effect Rubio’s selection as a VP candidate would have with the Latino/Hispanic community....? Maybe it’s not about the fraudulent votes (ok, I’ll stop).. Maybe it’s about Obama fearing the power of Rubio on the ticket.....
whaddya think?
