Is this the end of Eric Holder’s games?
NY Post ^ | 6-20-2012 | Michael A. Walsh

Which is why — unless he produces the documents before 10 a.m. this morning — Holder is looking at a House committee vote on contempt of Congress charges; once the full House goes along, he’ll be only the 11th official to be so cited since 1975.

Then what? Technically, the citation goes to the US attorney for DC to present to a grand jury. Usually, lawyers for the White House and Congress huddle and work out some accommodation — but relations may be too poisonous for that now.

Holder also has the option to simply not prosecute himself — which would surely set off a firestorm, as would any attempt by him or the president to assert executive privilege at this late date.

The last thing President Obama needs heading into the election is even more controversy over his hyper-politicized chief law-enforcement officer — especially with some in Congress already calling for a special prosecutor to investigate intelligence leaks emanating from the administration.

I have heard many rumors and select innuendo pertaining to boner and this investigation. On the record boner has backed Issa every step of the way.

Do not pay attention to the man behind the curtain (msm) pay attention to the record.

It would appear that our patience is about to be rewarded, and justice is about to be served.

The only question left is, will fubo circle the wagons, or will a bus tossing be in order.... we will know by the end of the week..

Nothing stops these people other than actually stopping them.

Sandy Berger was actually convicted and got a slap on the wrist, his security clearance returned a year later. You or I would be buried under a federal prison for a lot less.

Today, Berger is on the board of the International Crisis group sharing America's secrets with other board members like George Soros, Kofi Annan, Mohammad ElBaredai, and many more.

Nobility doesn't send nobility to prison. That's a punishment reserved for us little people.

RE :”Those may be the democrat talking points distributed by their propaganda organs in the media, but the Republicans have aimple effective counter they need to beat like a drum:
“If this was started by Bush, and ended by you, then you have nothing to hide. Turn over the documents.

I like it, that is very good.

They need to learn how to take straight-forward short message like that and repeat in on every show like beating a drum.

What Dems are trying to get across to those not paying close attention is that Holder is investigating a scandle started by Bush justice department and his turning over those 'sensitive' documents will compromise that investigation of the Bush justice department.
I know this is not true but others dont know, they just see accusations fly back and forth.

I will notify my Representative and inform him a vote for Bonehead in the next Congress is a vote to come home. I can’t imagine I would be alone doing this either.

Is the vote roll-called and published? Do we have the vote list from the beginning of this session?

“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

President cannot pardon impeachment and removal from office.

Not that the Senate would convict.

Not so fast. Allapundit is wrong. Boehner's office was amazingly quick to jump on the rumors going around that Boehner was not supporting Issa. Boehner supports this action.

That link was dated May 18.

This is a better link to clearify Boehner’s move (June 11).

You think Boehner may be worried that he does not have the vote count?

Holder just requested “Executive Privilege” protection from Obama. Must be some real dynamite in those files.

It may be a lie but Republicans appear not to be organized like Dems are to counter it.

Holder sent over a 'few' heavily redacted pages, some were almost black...Holder was/is trying to stonewall until after the election hoping the Fast & Furious debacle would go away. (Obama Orders Launched Fast and Furious) note the dates.

Let's think about that.

After the contempt vote when Holder refuses to prosecute himself what is house Republicans next step? Isn't that the end of the line? Can they impeach Holder?

Obama/Holder's plan might work

Thanks for the link references.

Per Fox Business channel, Obama has just asserted executive privilege and the documents will not be provided. Wow!

According to Drudge, Holder is asking Obama to declare Executive Privilege.

I don’t think that will fly very well.

I believe this point was settled against Holder & the 0bama regime in “United States v. Nixon.” I’m sure you remember that Supreme Court opinion; it was brought about by a number of Congressional Hearings where information of criminal activity on the part of the executive branch was sought by Congress. In fact, all of those proceedings have the status of sacred and holy objects in the church of liberalism.

How ironic that yesterday’s sauce for the goose is being cooked up for the gander today.

Proceed with the contempt motion. They should have claimed their “privilege” long ago.

Just happening, it seems Obama has declared executive privilege on the F&F documents.

This could very well make things difficult for Obama & Thuggocracy, Inc.

First off, it will become VERY difficult for the ministry of propaganda to ignore this, although they’ll attempt to spin Issa’s investigation as a “fishing expedition.” But at least they’ll have to mention it, if only in passing.

Secondly, this is REALLY going to piss off the house members, and make the odds of passing contempt findings far greater, and there’s no way the ministry of propaganda can ignore that, thought again, they’ll fall back on “evil republicans” and racism.

“The White House has asserted executive privilege over documents related to the ‘Fast and Furious’ scandal. Stay tuned to Fox News Channel for developments on this breaking story.”

The criminal cabal composed of Obama, Jarrett, Napolitano, and Holder are all involved in a conspiracy which illegally trafficked assault weapons to international terrorist organizations (drug gangs). With the issuing of executive priveledge it is now clear Obama’s fingerprints are all over this. And Holder cannot claim to have been just following orders (didn’t work in the Nuremberg trials).

Hillary should immediately separate herself from these criminals, otherwise she may be implicated as well and thus forfeit any future political aspirations on the national level.
