Opponents to a proposed marriage amendment to Minnesota's constitution have raised more than three times the amount of its supporters.

Minnesotans United for All Families, the main group lining up opposition to the amendment, raised $3.1 million in the first half of 2012, according to a report released Tuesday, June 19.

That brings the total raised since the start of the campaign in 2011 to $4.6 million. The group said it has taken in contributions from more than 19,000 individual donors over the entire campaign and that 85 percent of the money raised has come from within the state.

Total expenditures so far are roughly $3 million.

Many Sodomites are very successful at their chosen fields of endeavor and consequently have lots of money to spend.
They and their supporters are quite prominent among the “entertainment” elites. And so they contribute heavily to their causes.

Perhaps this is a good argument for the public finding more stimulating and educational weays to expend their spare time instead of wasting it on movies, etc.

TRIPLE NEGATIVE ALERT!!!

Who is on First?

Is the “Amendment” for or against “Traditional Marriage”?

What does that make the “foes”?

I know I am very opposed to gay marriage but I am too confused to figure out if the amendment is in favor of gay marriage or opposed to it.

The word marriage refers to a real marriage between a man and a woman.

Even the author of the article assumes that particular “bias” whether they realize it or not.

When I use the word “bias” above, it refers to a bias rooted in actual reality, like being biased towards gravity.

the amendment is to define marriage as between 1 man and 1 woman.

I wonder how this will affect those who cling to "voters choose traditional marriage every time" as a talking point.

I guess we know why Bachmann didn't run for US Senate in MN, instead of the GOP nomination for president.
