LOS ANGELES -- A woman whose 2-year-old son fell to his death following a Los Angeles Lakers game says she put him on a ledge to take a photo of him.
City News Service reports Monday that Hoia Mi Nguyen told defense attorneys in a deposition that she wanted to capture the moment of baby Lucas Tang's attendance at the Nov. 21, 2010 game.

How disgusting is it to try to profit off of the death of your son, when it was your lack of parental responsibility that caused the death?
I remember when this happened, those of us who spend our lives trying to keep our 2-year-olds from doing fatally dumb things had some sympathy. “Maybe his older brother told him he could fly,” I suggested, this having happened in my family. (James was only stunned, fortunately.)
The judge had better through this case out. What was the stadium management to do, station an armed guard in the box to keep her from doing something idiotic?

I see fans driving cars so I put my two year old behind the wheel. I even warned him not to go too fast.
If she promises to never get pregnant again, she could become the first-ever live recipient of the Darwin Award.
Why would any game, any event or anything make you put your child on a ledge so that you can take his picture to document he was at a GAME? HOLD HIM and have someone else take your picture if it is THAT important to you. A 2 year old child on a ledge to get a photo of players and a game??? No one is THAT important to endanger the life of your child. ANYONE sitting on a ledge could fall but a 2 year old fidgety, squiggly little child????? One turn wrong and he would be gone. Anyone would know that.
If she is suing anyone it should be tossed out of court!!
God bless the little 2 year old... my heart breaks for him. Now at least he is in the arms of the Lord who truly loves him and he is free from any of the horrors of this world not to mention stupidy. Rest in peace little one.
She needed to be shot or at least jailed for a long time. This stupidity with lawsuits has to end. The worthless of our society have wrecked the economy with their life’s LOTTERY of using the court system.
I think that the Jack@$$ lawyer that told her she had a case needs to be disbarred as well.
