The occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has just made a critical legal and political error, and just showed America his full hand.
Post #8. Sad but true. Romney only wants to run on one issue: the economy.
He could actually do that on the field during the Super Bowl and the same people would still vote for him.
Obama would throw Holder under the bus if he could. If he did Holder would take him down with him. It would only be logical for Obama to ask Holder to take the rap with the promise of a Presidential Pardon after the election. This has not happened, ergo Holder does not trust Obama.
Issa to Holder, “Where are the papers?”
Holder, “My dog ate them.”
Issa, “Where is the dog?”
Holder “The President ate him.”
Every time (every single time) Romney talks about something other than the economy, it helps Obama.
Obama has been an economic disaster. Even his most ardent supporters from 2008 feel that way. His one and only chance to get reelected is to make voters talk about some other issue—any other issue—even if it means a scandal.
Yes, congress should go after Fast & Furious. Yes, the press should cover it. Yes, we should get all upset about it. But, Romney needs to keep the focus of the campaign on the economy and jobs, jobs, jobs.
The president can only be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors.
impeached by the house
removed by the senate
“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. “
The process is for the House of Representatives to pass a bill of impeachment specifying the charges against the president.
The Senate then acts the jury for a trial based on the charges.
Issa to Holder, Where are the papers?
Holder, My dog ate them.
Issa, Where is the dog?
Holder The President ate him.

I agree with you 100%. Romney needs to stay out of the scandal, let others carry the water for him. He focuses on the bad economy, and stays above the “ugly” political fray. Most people are going to vote their pocketbooks. While F & F helps, it’s not the winning issue. Remember, Watergate was public knowledge before the 1972 election. Who won?
Nice job! Lol.
Rommney has to wait until the DNC has chosen Obummer to be their candidate or else they could switch to someone else.
That’s absolutely brilliant!
>>If Romney did that, it would last exactly one news cycle.<<
If they covered it at all.
