NBC News' Thomas Roberts accuses Rep. John Mica (R-FL) of "sour grapes" and having "an axe to grind" for requesting Fast and Furious documents that, according to Roberts, Congress is "not entitled to." s

Speaker Pelosi pledged an end the the Culture of Corruption.
Hoisted on their own Orwellian/Stalinist petard.
There is a REASON GE (owner of NBC) pays no taxes,
even ignoring the obvious connections elsewhere.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
One day, sooner than later hopefully, all republicans will respond to any request from these newsphonies for comments with an appropriately rude noise, followed by a good belly laugh.
At least they've got to stop considering them conduits for serious news.
I think that Fast and Furious will be the death of NBC and ABC news as the end of Holder becasue of their coverups.
This is their plan? Ask the MSM for help?
Now the Non-FOX “News” media is going to show its situational ethics and protect the most non-transparent Imperial President in US history. Bravo NBC. Sink with the rest of the double standard Democrats.
Hey NBC.. maybe you should learn to read.. We the People. How hard is that for the Blamer and Hider in Chief?
Mica was terrific! He’s my representative and a more mild-mannered fellow you’d never meet...that interview and this morning in the hearings is as upset as I’ve ever seen him.
Now they are using the Nixon defence? WTF?
"Katie, you push the Democrat agenda very well, but let me just say ..."
"Chris, yes, the White House does want you to make that point. Mission accomplished. But the truth is ..."
"Alan, this is like talking directly to the president. Well done! You serve the White House well. But the facts are with me ..."
You’re right. He should be charged.
No wonder things are such a mess. A dumbed down public beig spoonfed lies by the likes of this individual.
I amd so sick of the double standard.
This reporter doesn’t know his a$$ from a popgun, how dare he ake such a statement.
Don’t watch the Olympic games. In addition to boycotting a POS network, you won’t have to watch the lame Bob Costas.
I read and learned so much from reading here (and other blog posts), thank you all.
Watch it work too,
IIRC Comcast is majority owner of NBC for the last 2 years or so.
I guess the term “Congressional Oversight” is completely foreign to Tom Roberts.

Thomas Roberts subs for Sgt. Schultz on PMSNBC.
Thomas Roberts is the first cable news anchor to publicly come out.
Roberts publicly acknowledged he is gay while speaking at the annual convention of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA) in Miami, Florida, which was held on September 8, 2006.
He had slowly been coming out at CNN over the past several years. Diaz reported that Roberts, who has been a member of the NLGJA since 2005, said he was proud of his partner and that staying in the closet was a difficult thing for a national news anchor. "When you hold something back, that's all everyone wants to know", Diaz quoted Roberts as saying.
On September 15, 2006, Christie Keith, a reporter with the website AfterElton.com, published an interview with Roberts, who stated that he actually came out to coworkers in 1999, when he was living in Norfolk, Virginia. "I was happy, I was in a relationship, and I was very proud.
Roberts was raised a Roman Catholic, and still considers himself one.
He has been in a relationship with his partner, Patrick D. Abner, since 2000. According to an AfterElton.com interview, they celebrated their anniversary on September 30, 2006. On June 25, 2011, one day after same-sex marriage in New York was legalized, Roberts announced his engagement to Abner on his Twitter page.

Patrick Abner
BINGO!
Have you heard of the system of checks and balances? Congress can request anything regarding documents, and in the here and now emails. What parts of the constitution are you unfamiliar with; All of it?
Callers (democRATs) to C-Span are playing the race card. What part (of people lied and people died) do these race card players not understand? The race card players may as well call zer0 and now holder their gods. Sheet ....
Ditto that!
That’s one reason I smell blood in the water here: the mild-mannered GOP folks are getting PISSED OFF. It’s not just those who COULD be called partisan fire-breathers, like Issa. It’s the Clark Kent types like Mica, Grassley, Cornyn and many others.

#1: Mrs MindBender and I have known Pat and John Mica for 25 years. He is a great guy, and note to the (P)MSNBC News Clown, do not screw with John.
#2: Please put on ping list
Facilitate the cover-up, and the blood is on your hands too, Comcast.
“NBC News to GOP Rep: ‘You’re Not Entitled To Those Documents’”
The Ministry Of Truth is not happy with recent developments, obviously.
House Committee is not only entitled to the documents, it is their sworn Constitutional duty. Thus we see yat agin that the fifth column enemy euphemistically called ‘the media’ is working to destroy the Constitutional Republic they obviously either don’t comprehend or hate with all their ‘mite’. I happen to have no tolerance gene left, so I hate the media for the perfidy they daily convey.
“Bammy is looking forward to this Constitutional Crisis...”let no crisis go to waste”...the “best” thing to fall out of it all will be disruption of the vote...and Holder has his own plans to facilitate that....
I hope We the People are up to it.
Thanks, how about those who think Romney will take a stand on this? Talk about dreaming.
Let us not forget Rachel Madcow. Now there is a pleasant young
fellow.

Where there’s smoke there’s fire and the media is smoldering like an oil soaked rotten log.
You make an excellent point. Mica was sincerely disgusted. He’s not a grandstander in any way- this has him truly angry. And who ever sees Grassley in a dither as he’s been about this? These guys (Clark Kents) are PISSED.
They know something(s)we don’t.
Yes, very predictable. As if there was any question that NBC, et. al., are the propaganda organs of the democrat party and the 0bama regime. Well it’s confirmed now. Can you imagine NBC saying this if this flap took place under Bush?
Did NBC say the same thing during the Nixon years? I think not. Typical liberal hypocrisy. A real journalist would risk his life to see those documents.
yep ... could be more people could die. The Chicago crowd in D.C. would never harm anyone. Now there is a fact which is not a fact, it is classified, one has been told. Heard it all the time the hearing was up and going. Classified.
RE :”Well its confirmed now”
??? This surprises you?

Butt pirate sodomite nbc propagandist.

This one is from the Republican side, though.
EVOLVING TRUTH
The HALLMARK of the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.
Next time Katie Courie of the world asks “What newspaper/magazine are you currently reading?”
The standard reply should be ‘I don’t have time to waste on official gubbmint propaganda.’
The ‘doting court eunuchs’ of the MSM fail to notice what hypocrites they've become...
Watching the proceedings on CSPAN3.
Elijah Cummings attacking Issa

It sure would. Tremendously. But don't hold your breath.
Republicans treating these propagandizing, talentless slobs with even a modicum of respect, and an implied assumption of professional behavior, fair coverage and treatment, only serves to advance the Leftist agenda.
They should be cut off at the ankles; at even the level of foundational terminology they are allowed to deploy. (witness: “Homophobia” and “Birther”).
Their very framing of questions should be challenged or better yet ridiculed.
