Parents could tell something was wrong with the children when they came home from school. They were quiet and withdrawn, embarrassed, and didn’t want to talk about what had happened. When Curtis and Jean Pannkuk began questioning their young daughter, they discovered that her elementary school principal had instructed her that day in how to perform oral and anal sex. The traumatizing instruction was delivered as a part of state approved sex education that was orchestrated, developed, pushed, and policed by Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice Washington, SIECUS, and a host of other agencies.
Though parents in the small town of Onalaska, Washington, are furious that their children have been violated and traumatized by the highly inappropriate sex instruction, the superintendent defended the principal’s delivery of graphic instruction in aberrant sex to the elementary school students, telling local media, “I think the principal handled it appropriately at the time; she only gave factual information, no demonstrations.” In another interview, he indicated that she “stuck to the curriculum.”
Curtis Pannkuk says if that’s the case, the curriculum needs to change. In an interview with Fox Radio News, Pannkuk said, “One of the other parents said it well—they raped the minds of the ten-year-old, eleven-year-old kids.”
Planned Parenthood’s influence in state-approved and state-mandated sexuality education is taking a ghastly toll on children. Onalaska parent James Gilliland expressed anger and dismay after his daughter’s innocence was stripped from her by the oral sex instruction. His wife, Kadra, said, “I was just shocked because I trusted my little country school. I trusted my school—that’s the bottom line, and they crossed the line.”
And that is exactly what Planned Parenthood relies upon when pushing its agenda through coalitions on the national, state, and district levels. Planned Parenthood operatives know that parents are busy with their lives and often trust their schools to do the right thing for their children. That creates the perfect opportunity for Planned Parenthood to enter the schools while parents are not paying attention, with all the wrong things for children.
Everyone is focused on Planned Parenthood and the evil it does through abortion. That evil is the ultimate child abuse and certainly renders the abortion giant unworthy of one penny of government funding. But even if Planned Parenthood never committed another abortion, the impact of its sex indoctrination programs on children, teens, and young adults is reason enough to strip it of government funding and run it out of the nation.

The curriculum in use in the King County, Washington, school where children in fifth grade were recently taught how to have oral and anal sex, is the Family Life and Sexual Health (F.L.A.S.H.) state-approved curriculum. Planned Parenthood is particularly enamored with this curriculum, highly recommending it on its website, alongside lesson plans from the SIECUS Sex Ed Library. (Dr. Mary Calderone, a former medical director at Planned Parenthood, was the first director of SIECUS.)
The state of Washington OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)—the agency that approves sex education programs for use in schools—recommends the Rutger’s-based Answer in its flyer as the resource for teacher training and staff development for state mandated HIV and state approved sexual health education. Answer is also recommended on the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood website, which goes on to say, “Teachers can earn professional credits from the ETR Associates Resource Center for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (ReCAPP).” (ETR Associates began its corporate life as the Education Department of the Santa Cruz Chapter of Planned Parenthood.)
Answer promotes a Teen-to-Teen Sexuality Education Initiative called Sex, Etc. It offers the usual Planned Parenthood fare, including links to Planned Parenthood websites, advice on how to skirt parents, immoral sexual advice, abortion rights information, gay rights information, and instructions on how to have gay sex. Its website features a video claiming that when it comes to sex, “parents obviously don’t have the answers, and teenagers still need them. That’s where honest sex ed comes in.”
And who do you think might be training the teachers who are teaching the F.L.A.S.H. curriculum? A visit to Answer’s TISHE 2.0 (In-Service Training) Core Staff 2012 page features Mark Huffman, who just happens to be a former vice president for education and training at Planned Parenthood of Middle and East Tennessee. Also on staff is another former PP employee, Kurt Conklin, who is now the director of programs at SIECUS.
Additionally on staff is Nora Gelperin, recognized for her experience in training teachers nationwide in 2010. She received the Mary Lee Tatum Award from, that’s right, the Association of Planned Parenthood Leaders in Education. You might say she wrote the Answer book, in that “she developed Answer’s three dynamic online workshops ‘Sexuality ABCs (Abstinence, Birth Control and Condoms),’ ‘STD Basics’ and most recently ‘LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning) Issues in School.’”
Current Planned Parenthood employee Maureen Kelly rounds out the list of presenters. She is VP for programming and communications with Planned Parenthood of the Southern Finger Lakes. She also served for nine years on the SIECUS board of directors. “Kelly is the proud founder of Planned Parenthood’s Out for Health: LGBT Health & Wellness program.” Only two out of the six TISHE presenters do not list a current or past association with Planned Parenthood.
The TISHE 2.0 in-service teacher-training program is co-sponsored by SIECUS and Answer.
Planned Parenthood goes to great lengths to hide from parents its dominant position in school sex ed programming, but a few hours on the Internet reveals an extremely intricately woven web of deceit composed of organizations that spring from or are otherwise closely connected to Planned Parenthood. Those organizations and individuals are actually working with Planned Parenthood to call the shots when it comes to school-based sex education.

Now that our government's socialist-entitlment schools have been utterly godless since the mid-60s why are we surprised that grandparents and parents haven't a clue about child discipline, and illegitimacy is zooming even among whites? The communists, especially Bill Ayers, are cheering!
One of the goals of the communist party was destruction of the family. Well!....Government schooling with great input from Dewey has been working hard at this for at least a century.
Compulsory and socialist-entitlement schooling was a progressive idea beginning in the mid-1800s. Progressives have always controlled curriculum development and teacher training. Dewey is one of the most famous.
By the way, Bill Ayers didn't get where he was without a LOT of communist and hard core socialist greasing the way. His mentors were from my father's generation, born 1913.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.” ( Now common in the government schools..and...homosexuals have already moved into positions of authority and influence in hiring of teachers.)

Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.” ( Children's most awake and alert hours are now spent in an utterly godless environment and even their homework is completely godless in its worldview, as well.Think of how many hours of a child's waking day that is! )
31) Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over. ( Now rampant in government schools across the nation.)
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. ( Yep! We see many articles about how in our government schools the flag is not displayed, the pledge not said, and the Constitution ignored or taught that it is a “living document”.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.” ( Again, we see articles here on Free Republic where Rosa Parks gets three pages and the Founding Father either ignored or given a sentence or two.)
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals. ( And...These social workers, guidance counselors, and psychologists are found in the government schools across the nation. )
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. Bingo! with sex ed, promotion of homosexuality as normal, hiring of gays, performances of “Vagina Monologues” etc.)
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. ( Has anyone noticed the expansion of free meals to now include dinner as well as breakfast, and the push for socialist-entitlment after school programs and now PreK for kids barely out of diapers.)
42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [”]united force[”] to solve economic, political or social problems. ( We have had numerous articles her on Free Republic of government K-12 teachers putting children on prison gang buses ( oops! “school” buses) to attend rallies and protests for socialist causes.)
I wonder how many ministers have spouses that are teachers?
It would be the brave minister, indeed, who will speak out against the government schools. In my county the government school district is the single largest employer with the most employees and largest payroll! Think of the vendors and their employees that supply the socialist-entitlement schools. Hey! Even my dentist , physician, and physical therapist depend on the health insurance that school employees bring into their offices.
What minister is going to bite the hand that puts money in the collection plate?
There is no more evil and dangerous an organization on earth than Planned Parenthood.

To have conferences with teachers,
I have never been to a teacher's conference that wasn't a complete and total waste of my life and the teachers' time! The government schools have thousands of ways to frustrate parents.
Solution: Work for the complete shut down of all government owned and run K-12 schooling. What is needed is complete separation of school and state.

When Federal mandate came down that the Lord's Prayer would not be allowed, we STILL had a moment of silence. Children knew that was a time for prayer if they chose to pray. We continued with Pledge and patriotic song.
Once our school had a better intercom system installed we did Pledge and patriotic song school wide. We played the patriotic song over the intercom and students and teachers in every classroom sang and then followed with the pledge.
To make sure our students learned many patriotic songs, the song was changed every week, and then perhaps repeated again. Our students not only learned familiar patriotic songs, they also learned the songs of every branch of our US military. This was in Pinellas County, Florida.

ALL government owned and run socialist-entitlement schools in this nation are godless in their worldview. The child **must** think and reason godlessly just to cooperate in the godless classroom. This is NOT religiously neutral, and it is an abomination to force this godless worldview onto innocent captive children, and to put taxpayers under police and court threat to pay for it.

If some schools do manage to sneak in a little prayer into the school day or school year, the school is teaching the students that Christians are sneaky. They are also teaching the students that Christians are law breakers, and are willing to force their beliefs onto their captives ( Opps! "students") They are also teaching children that merely nodding to God on occasion is OK. ( Well...We know what Christ does with the lukewarm. He spits them out of His mouth!)

Next....All government owned and run K-12 schools are a socialist and single-payer entitlement and have been since the enactment of compulsory schooling laws in the mid-1800s to early 1900s. Children who attend these schools risk learning that the voting mob has great power to give them tuition-free schooling. Well?...If the voting mob can given them tuition-free school, why not **lots** of "free" stuff? Franklin D. Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson were not accidents. All it took was one to three generations of socialist-entitlement schooling to produce a population willing to vote in socialists and progressives.

It is impossible to have a religiously, politically, or culturally neutral education. When government owns and runs K-12 socialist-entitlement schools, government WILL force its NON-neutral religious worldview ( currently godless) onto its captive children and force taxpayers to pay for this abusive monstrosity and violation of the First Amendment.

Government in its roll as owner and managers of K-12 schools TRASH the First Amendment rights of its inmates ( oops! "students"). In many ways schools resemble prisons! They look like prisons, School buses look like prison transport. There are lockdowns, random search, drug sniffing dogs, metal detectors, searches ( even body searches), and solitary confinement rooms. In our government schools speech, press, assembly, and expression of religion are all strictly suppressed by government workers. Government guards ( oops! workers) dictate when children can eat, ( and what they can eat) rest and when they must exercise in areas that look like prison exercise yards. Their eating areas look like prison cafeterias.
If and when true tyranny comes to the U.S. the oligarchy will not use cattle cars to haul citizens off to the interment camps. No! No! Instead, they will us big yellow school buses and the sheeple will meekly comply to government authority just as its been trained to do.

Finally,...If by "good" you mean that some schools have high standardized testing, then please POST THE EVIDENCE that the **school** was responsible for these high scores? Where are the studies that separate out what is learned IN THE HOME due to the massive amounts of work done by the parents; the child himself doing home assignments, projects, and independent study; and paid or unpaid tutors?
NO one knows if government schools actually teach anything because AFTERSCHOOLING HAS NEVER BEEN STUDIED!! ( Yeah! I am shouting.) We spend up to $30,000 per child per year and NO ONE knows if government schools teach anything at all or if it is entirely due to the hard work of the child and his family IN THE HOME!

It is not good but it is EVIL to crush our economy, send business overseas; make goods made in the U.S. so expensive they can not be sold abroad; make it impossible for young people to get married; own a home and start a family; and to suck money out of the economy that could be invested in start ups, and expanding existing businesses, and new jobs.

All of it is true regardless of whether the neighborhood is white, black, Hispanic, middle class, upper class, or rock bottom poverty stricken. All of it is true no matter how much parents wear themselves out attempt to reform the IMPOSSIBLE! It is impossible to reform a socialist-entitlement, and **all** government owned and run K-12 schools are godless socialist-entitlements!
And...These are only some of the reasons why socialist-entitlment, single-payer, government owned and run K-12 schooling is evil. There are many more reasons.

Maybe now you can get away with it, but you are only ONE STUDENT away from losing it. All it takes is just ONE FAMILY from New York City (Brooklyn, in particular) to move into your nice community and the lawsuits start, and the people that run the schools (all having ‘Education Degrees’, so no different than those in Seattle) have the cover they need to end your little experiment with freedom.
