TROUTDALE, Ore. -- Police say they have identified 12 teens who ransacked a grocery store in Troutdale Saturday night as part of a 'flash mob.'
Sgt. Steve Bevens, spokesman for Toutdale police, said the 'flash rob' happened Saturday around 11:15 p.m. at the Albertsons store on Southeast Stark Street and Southeast 257th Avenue in Troutdale.
Bevens said 30 to 40 black teens, all minors, rushed the store to cause chaos, overwhelming employees as they ran through the store throwing things from shelves, stealing items, throwing produce on the floor.
"We are working to get more information and have put a couple of names to faces," said Bevens.
Detectives have also learned Trimet officers contacted this group Saturday night as they were headed from Portland to Troutdale. Bevens said detectives are working with Trimet to get any video surveillance of the suspects.

Do I need some diversity training since I KNEW IT WAS BLACKS that committed these crimes before even reading the story?
Shame on you! You’re not supposed to guess accurately.
BULL; Portland has been riddled with LA and eastern gang subsidiaries for over 20 years, they just refuse to admit it and deal with it. Not politically correct you know.
“Public transportation seems to serve primarily as a crime distribution system these days.”
That is why the liberal bastions west of Newark NJ opposed extending the trains from NYC out to their suburbs, and why newer highways heading southwest from the Newark area have few exits in the wealthy towns they pass through.
“This is happening in all the cities....in Chicago, they come into the good parts of Chicago via public transportation and commit crime and cause havoc...”
Same thing in Minneapolis. No city is immune.
Hey NOOB, reading comprehension is a prerequisite here. Third grade geography helps, too. Troutdale is not Portland.
