NRA to Score Holder Contempt Vote

"The National Rifle Association (NRA) will score a House panel vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt.

The NRA has longstanding issues with Holder, something it said was "no secret" in a letter the group wrote to leaders of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee announcing its decision.

The nation's most powerful gun lobbyist group said it has decided to score the vote over Holder's handling of the "Fast and Furious" program because of what the group calls the "open defiance" of the Department of Justice (DOJ) in the face of a congressional investigation into the botched gun-running operation...."

I hope that the NRA "weights" a vote against holding Holder in contempt VERY HEAVY. I want to see these scumbag Democrats self-identify themselves as strongly allied with the Holder-Obama criminal crew. I want to see many of them go down to defeat this November, and incurring the NRA's wrath cannot but help to achieve that goal.

So go ahead Democrats....MAKE OUR DAY!!

Okay, the article correctly characterized Fast and Furious as a gun-running operation, rather than a sting, so why is the word “botched” retained? It seems to have succeeded as a gun-running operation.

As any of us here at FR, who have been paying any attention know, it was never a sting operation, botched or otherwise (which is where the now-unmoored adjective “botched” came from, the media meme of “botched sting” repeated over and over in the hope of making it come true Goebbels-style) — had it been a sting operation Holder would have produced evidence of botched attempts to track the weapons, and the whole thing would have gone away.

The fact Holder has been stonewalling is proof it was either a gun-running operation on behalf of the Mexican drug gangs, or an attempt to undermine the Second Amendment by making the Democrat lie that most guns used in the Mexican gang wars come from the U.S. come true.

As I said in and earlier post, House Majority Whip-McCarthy of Cali. needs to get all his ducks (Republicans) in a row. 100% need to vote to find Holder in contempt. Shouldn't be hard. Up/down vote. They ALL need to step up to the plate on this one.
