As usual, the Supreme Court, although close to the end of its term, is in no hurry to decide its big cases. Among the cases being decided at the end of the 2011-12 term:

This is the court’s last chance to get back at Obama for dissing them during the state of the union address. Let’s hope they remember.

I hope they strike down Obamacare because it is unconstitutional, not because Obama "dissed" them at the SOTU.

For me, leaving the Arizona Ruling and the Ruling on the AHCA until the very last minute is a harbinger of bad news for Obama’s ilk.

Both rulings, if against AHCA and for Arizona, will undoubtedly result in quickly organized demonstrations, some violence, and maybe riots - just like what will happen when Obama gets ousted in November. SCOTUS is demuring at the prospect of the news.

Regardless, I’m 2A ready to protect home,hearth and family....

Whether the SC rules for or against AHCA, it is against freedom, period and deserves to be erased. I don't care how it's done, nor do I care about who will say what about it if it's dropped.

I also don't give a rat's patooty about being 'proper' in condemnation and wishes for anything Obama does, period. I want him, personally, to fail along with his policies. This country needs to realize the folly of succumbing to guilt, black bias and media's lack of due-diligence in 'vetting' him (actually a love fest)..

I want him to fail - fail absolutely miserably.

When is the last day?

They have a session on Monday, and possibly next Thursday as well (unless they release everything that's left on Monday).

I keep saying they will release Healthcare last, so they can be out of DC when heads start exploding.

Agree. But I suspect that there are justices that rule more by emotion than established law. Those are the ones I'm thinking about. It kind of like --- you can't call my crazy uncle charley crazy. Only I can call him crazy. Family, or in this case, institution first.

Personally, I’m glad they didn’t announce their decision on either case today. Now that the LSM is finally being forced to cover Fast & Furious, I’d like to see that stay in the news a little longer before the press manages to bury it again with another big story.

At this point ruling by 'Established Law' is absolutely horrid. There are far too many contra-constitutional laws/rules/rulings to make it a viable option. {Just look at the effect of the War on Drugs on the 4th Amendment and what's considered "legit" now.}

Getting back at a "diss"? Regardless of how you feel about this court, it's not the Crips and Bloods.
