Rush: Obama created crimes with gunrunning - 'It was liberalism .. It's who these people are'
WND ^ | June 20, 2012 | Joe Kovacs

Posted on 06/21/2012 11:29:41 AM PDT by opentalk

Radio giant Rush Limbaugh is coming down hard on the Obama administration’s “Fast and Furious” operation today, calling it “liberalism on parade” in a misguided attempt to promote stricter gun control in America.

“The whole point of Fast and Furious was to create mayhem in Mexico among drug cartels with American-made weapons easily procured so that you and I would stand up in outrage and demand tighter gun laws,” Limbaugh said

“It was deceitful. It was sneaky. It was going against the will of the American people. It was liberalism on parade. It’s who these people are. They want tighter gun laws.”

The White House today tried to undercut a congressional investigation of the scandal in which the Department of Justice allowed guns to be sold and delivered to Mexican drug cartels by announcing tens of thousands of documents were covered by executive privilege.

This afternoon, a House panel voted to place Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for his failure to comply with a subpoena for the documents, defying Obama’s assertion of executive privilege.

All 23 Republicans on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee voted for the contempt resolution, while all 17 Democrats voted against it.

Limbaugh explained Obama and his officials were actually creating crimes.

“There’s no other way to characterize this,” Limbaugh said. “They created, they manufactured crime. They enabled crimes. They saw to it that American guns ended up in Mexican drug cartel hands. And, of course, those people get the guns, they use them. When, in fact, it probably was difficult for the drug cartels to get the guns. It probably was not easy for the drug cartels to get the guns. Certainly not walking into gun stores in Phoenix and elsewhere, then crossing the border.”

Even the worst scheme theorized as a reason for this — to bring international outrage towards the USA as being a “source of illegal guns” — still seems to hardly suffice to explain why. Holder lied and Mexicans (and Americans) died. That much seems abundantly clear. But I’d almost wonder if there was a mole from a Mexican cartel who tried to punk the US into supplying more guns.

One thing I’d like to know is, did all the guns go to the same drug cartel?

In Miami, did the guns go to one gang? In Honduras, was it one group who got the guns?

That strategy may have been discussed in one of the documents they refuse to turn over, or perhaps even, it could have been an underlying theme.

I don’t know if there is a US liberal today with enough moxie to instigate something like this solely of himself or herself. I’m wondering about foreign influence.

“There’s no other way to characterize this,” Limbaugh said. “They created, they manufactured crime. They enabled crimes.”

The Democrat Party is a Criminal Enterprise. Been saying that for many years, and will for many to come. It’s imbedded in their perspective of life in general. They will do any number of criminal activities without remorse to get their way.

A vote for a Democrat is a vote for anything to win, anything goes, and that is a crime.

The fact that after the F&F issue started to heat up, Hillary and others still used violence in Mexico as a rationale for gun control here shows that this was their intention all along.

I can't remember the exact quotes or the exact time that it occurred, but WH officials basically said, "yes, this may have happened but it still shows that we need tighter gun control laws...."

Essentially, they were saying 'we were caught; we don't care; we're going along with our plan anyway...'

Nope. The cartels get most their guns straight out of the military arsenals of South and Central America; fully automatic weapons, heavy weapons, etc. And they get them a lot cheaper than they could get them from US gun stores.

Pure and simple, the DoJ wanted murder victims killed with weapons traceable to US gun stores to create an “emergency” that would allow them to further undermine the Second Amendment. That is all there was to “Fast and Furious.”

Is there a Democratic Congressman who disagrees with Obama’s and Holder’s objectives? Seriously, is there a Democrat left in Washington who cares about the law, truth and openness in government? It doesn’t look like it.

This administration has said they want to ratify a MX/US gun treaty from Bill Clinton.

TREATY ENDANGERS SECOND AMENDMENT AND U.S. SOVEREIGNTY(April 2009)

... On April 16, 2009, President Obama emerged from a meeting with Mexico’s President Calderón to announce his support for the “Inter-American Convention against the Illicit Manufacturing and Trafficking in Firearms” treaty (CIFTA): an international gun control treaty signed by President Bill Clinton in 1997 but never ratified by the U.S. Senate.

Unlike Clinton, Obama has no plans to let the treaty languish without ratification. Thus he promised to push the treaty through the Senate quickly as a means of curtailing the border violence and arms trafficking in Mexico’s current drug wars. Yet the text of CIFTA indicates that the treaty would do very little to curtail violence in Mexico, unless creating a national gun registry in the United States is something that will cut crime south of the border

add this Federal Assault Weapons Ban: Eric Holder Gun Control (Feb 2009)

..Attorney General Eric Holder stated in a press conference today that Barack Obama’s administration will seek to reinstate the federal assault weapons ban that expired in 2004. Eric Holder was speaking at a news conference announcing a crackdown against a Mexican drug cartel in the United States

... administration will seek to reinstate a federal assault weapons ban that was instituted under Bill Clinton in 1994, and expired under President George W. Bush in 2004. The Federal Assault Weapons Ban was part of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act in 1994....

Holder came from the Clinton administration.

There is a little more to the Fast and Furious scheme. The left wants to demonize Americans who own so called, “assault weapons.” It isn’t enough to disarm Americans, the left wants to portray Americans who are pro 2nd Amendment as potential terrorists.

The Vetting - Holder 1995: We Must 'Brainwash' People on Guns

Breitbart.com has uncovered video from 1995 of then-U.S. Attorney Eric Holder announcing a public campaign to "really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way."

Holder lied and Mexicans (and Americans) died.

Mexican politicians were completely on board with this political blame-America scheme. They were doing a barbershop quartet with Obama and Holder.

Impeach Eric Holder, and force the Senate Democrats to play their lockstep game going right into November, right into the teeth of the election. Impeach Holder, try him in public right there in the Senate, pile up the evidence against him.

Make the Democrats cleave to their darlings on national television, on election eve.

Soros, NWO Republicans, and the UN all want the same thing: A world government untroubled by its subject peoples. They want the US Bill of Rights, and esp. the Second Amendment, gone.

The Second Amendment embodies and makes potent the right of the People to abolish their government when it displeases them. That is the principle that rankles the world's would-be Lords Ordainers.

Yeah, the Communist way.

That does it. Nothing less than a federal cellblock for Eric Holder. Let him preach that crap in Lewisburg Penitentiary.

If US guns would be uneconomical enough that cartels would not want them, then who supplied the money to shop at the Lone Wolf WMD Flea Market?

Does any of this rise to more than the level of mere speculation?

I sort of thought at first that the deal was to empower the drug cartels to make Mexico an even worst place to live thereby driving as many illegals as possible across the border so they can vote in this election.

As I have heard it, Sipsey Street Irregulars, and lately now CBS News, are talking about government documents SAYING this is what the gun walkers wanted.

I’ve felt there must be more, but God knows. It’s certainly not LESS.

What is implied in a scheme like this is truly horrific, because such a scheme would never work *unless* there was something that would acutely enrage the American public - a massacre of Americans by Mexicans with US guns.

“The attack on Columbus, New Mexico, began as a raid conducted by Pancho Villa’s fighters on the small United States border town in March 1916. 18 Americans were killed, much of the town was burned and looted, and the public was outraged enough to demand an invasion of Mexico.”

Of course, were a large number of Americans to be massacred by a drug cartel today, though the US military would probably be more than happy to move into northern Mexico and exterminate every cartel member, this would not be what Obama and his ideologues would want.

Instead, they would want an event where Americans were massacred by unknown Mexicans, with substantial evidence that they were killed with US made guns.

This would be an excuse to make a wide ranging assortment of gun control demands, in something like a gun control Obamacare, loaded with hundreds or thousands of bureaucratic invasions that would make gun ownership impossible.

A lot of it came from the FBI, in money to a confidential informant, to buy the guns. It is one reason for the coverup. There was also a third rifle at the Brian Terry shooting, that was taken from the crime scene. The word is that it was tied to this confidential informant, which is why it "disappeared" from the crime scene.

We did with our tax dollars?

I’m not sure why they bought them. Maybe it was just an opportunity - an impulse buy?

Lets put it this way - where, in the US, can you buy an automatic weapon of recent vintage, a grenade or heavy weapons?

We might have some stuff they would want (Barretts?) but they can get the M16s from our “allies” and AKs from the USSR’s former clients or Venezuela.
