What’s Bam hiding?
NY Post ^ | June 21, 2012

Executive privilege, conceptually speaking, is a lot like the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution: Assert it, and folks assume that there’s a coverup under way.

...In recent weeks, Justice officials have “retracted” earlier sworn statements —including one this week that the operation began under the Bush administration.

All in all, it stinks on ice.

Between Sheriff Joe and the Cold Case Posse, Holder’s obvious shell games on Fast and Furious, and his sinking poll numbers ...

I’d say be wary of a June-July-August-September-October Surprise.

Bammy’s gonna get desperate for a big distraction.

OK, tinfoil off.

I could be wrong, of course.

From article

...Now comes Obama, apparently attempting to derail the entire process with his assertion of privilege. A principled claim? Or a coverup?

Given that the administration appears otherwise to believe in nothing whatsoever, we’ll go with coverup.

“What’s Bam hiding?”

Crimes and the guilt associated with them.

My guess is something on the order of that both he and Holder new the details of this operation and approved it. That would make them both accomplices to murder.

MURDERGATE

To the half of America that half pays attention to the news, "Fast and Furious" is still a B-rated action movie. This scandal will gain much more traction if we shift the meme over to MURDERGATE. When liberals whine and ask why we call it Murdergate, just say, "Because nobody was murdered at the Watergate."

Thanks, part of the significance of the article is, this is from the AP and the article is a quick good summary.

MSM, is reporting F&F as complicated usual political differences. Brian Williams has implied it is too complicated for viewers to waste time on. Megan Kelly on FOX has also repeated how complicated this is..

There’s nothing complicated about: Jamie Zapata was investigating F & F., the suspicious details of his murder, and the fact that now the DOJ is being sued. ....did I mention that the suit was recorded the same day that BO declared EP.
Those are facts, let the American people decide.

Just coincidence, I’m sure...../s

One only has to view the cartoon and take up the word "Murdergate" to understand there is no complication of thought processes as the media wishes. This is cut and dried and as Travis asserts .... nobody was murdered at the Watergate.

Good question ... it is what it is ... and Americans will never have the truth till the documents and emails are released by zer0, holder, hillary and their gangs. The media says the politics is complicated. No it is not. People lied, people died. What parts of this does the media want to cover up? The murders? The people who would suffer and be removed (if there is wrongdoing)? One has to see the documents to piece this puzzle together. Why is the media not calling for the documents and emails to be released? Why protect people who possibly broke the law? Are all of us now living on another planet and in another country where the Rule of Law has been flushed down the toilet? Who or what groups made the decisions to flush the Rule of Law? Easily answered (whether the law was broken or not) if EP had not been asserted and the documents and emails had been released. Withholding the document and emails speaks volumes. Nixon will be looked upon as a choir boy if this release of documents and emails are not released. One can think the EP was therefore issued to protect those who have unlawfully acted. If there is nothing unlawful in the documents and emails the documents and emails would be released wouldn't they? Will be interesting to see how this spin occurs if they attempt to spin it (as they are doing in zer0's office and media), but there are people dead from these guns. This is definitely a case of the democRATs and media saying so what. Will the spin now be people die everyday from guns and this is no different? Would not suprise this one typing.

My apology Breto for using your post for this rant. A prayer you will forgive me.

So Jaime Zapata may have been set up and deliberately murdered using a F&F gun as part of the scheme?

Of course, everyone is as pure as the wind driven snow if one can believe those in power and the go along and take the money at election time media, unless it has an R. What makes anyone think a criminal enterprise in our government is going to come (forward as zer0 says) and confess?

House committee suspects ‘Fast and Furious’ cover-up

...The House committee investigating Fast and Furious has received more than 7,600 documents from the Justice Department, but Republican lawmakers say none addresses who approved the gunrunning probe, who failed to stop it before a U.S. Border Patrol agent was killed and why department officials initially lied to Congress about it.

The gun Zapata was killed with, actually went across the border in Texas, not AZ where F & F was run from....It was an apparently similar if not identicle program. IMO all run by the same people. People have missed the fact that EP did NOT come about until the Zapata wrongful death suit was filed against the DOJ.....IMO that’s is what/why materials are being hidden. Even congress critters have not made the connection....at least publicly

Exactly, Trav. Fast and Furios has led to the deaths of hundreds. Two US government employees, one a border patriol agent, another a state department agent, have been killed by the weapons. Over 200 mexican citizen deaths have been tied to the weapons, but in a country where 50,000 have died in the drug wars over the last 3-4 years, you can bet that number is probably much higher. If you or I illegally sold a gun to someone who we knew was a criminal, and then that person used that gun to kill, we would be charged as accomplices and accessories in the crime. Felony charges. Eric Holder and his staff are guilty of this type of crime IMHO...and it is appearing more and more like Obama was informed and perhaps approved making him equally culpable. This type of reveleation is what they are so desperately trying to hide. For these crimes...and others too numerous to list here, they both deserve to be in prison. MURDERGATE

Thanks.

If true, this is very suspicious:

The new information released to the public today shows that despite the denials of the Obama Administration, Agent Zapata had apparently stumbled onto a cache of weapons making its way southward toward the southern border, and it just so happened that most of those weapons were part of the Administration's illegal operation to place guns in the hands of Mexican criminals. Four months later Zapata was murdered

Who, then, ultimately were Zapata's "assailants?" While today's evidence does not contain the definitive answer to that question, there are troublesome facts that point to significant knowledge of the danger Zapata faced on the part of the ATF and ICE, danger of which the agent himself in all likelihood was unaware.

While I feel for the families of the murdered border agents, I think they are but the tip of the iceberg.

I've heard media saying and talking about people being killed in Mexico, but common sense tells one those guns all did not stay in Mexico.

Those same ruthless cartels are crossing the border taking Americans hostage, murdering them etc. all with weapons supplied by our own government.

What those documents show or are likely to show is this gun scheme not only took place on the border. It took place in New York, Chicago, LA, Hollywood and across the country.

This is the stupidity they are covering up. They are covering up the depth and scope of the program, because if the American people knew the truth about the amount and type of weaponry.....heads would do more than roll.

I believe every bit of that.

I believe that the two dead agents are the tip of the iceberg and that are probably many, many more...scores of Americans already dead as a result of this operation where the current local investigators simply do not have access to the data base to know that the guns were a part of the operation.

The only reason we really know what we know is because of whistleblowers inside the agency...otherwise we would not know about these two either IMHO.

And you can bet that this operation went all the way to the top for knowledge and aprroval.

When the data comes out...it will damning. I wowuld not mind that among the other horrible “forsts,”

OBama’s Horrific “Firsts” as President
http://www.jeffhead.com/obama1sts.htm

That we ultimately have him be the first President who after his defeat in Novemebr is indicted and sent to prison, for that is exactly what he deserves.

The circumstances behind the murder of BP Agent Brian Terry weren't very straightforward either.

FBI Criminal Informant Complicit in Brian Terry’s Death (PJM Exclusive)

The rip crew was in Peck Canyon that evening with the intention of stealing money and drugs from a specific shipment of which they had prior knowledge.

(snip)

The rip crew knew to be in Peck Canyon that December evening because a CI working for the FBI found out about a smuggling run — from the FBI.

(snip)

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) — through its own CIs and communications intercepts — was also aware of the planned assault.

Neither the DEA nor FBI warned Border Patrol about the expected criminal activity.

(snip)

The federal government will still not reveal if one of the two WASR-10 AK-pattern semi-automatic rifles located near the scene — provided to the Sinaloa cartel via Operation Fast and Furious — was the weapon that put a bullet through Brian Terry’s heart. The existence of a third recovered gun, an SKS carbine, has been disputed by the FBI despite the fact it had been talked about openly in the beginning of the investigation among federal agents.

Multiple sources tell PJM that this third weapon “disappeared” because it was the weapon carried by the FBI CI who ran the rip crew. When it was recovered near the scene of the murder and subsequently traced by the ATF, it traced back to the FBI CI via the gun shop in Texas where it was purchased.

Brian Terry’s murder was entirely preventable. The incompetence of the DEA and FBI let his Border Patrol unit walk into an ambush. After the ambush, it appears the FBI tampered with evidence to cover up that one of their informants was involved with the murder of a federal agent.

Add to that all of the hostile “act of war” aspects of the case, and the mind boggles.

This might be Hillary’s chance to jump ship. If a John Dean appears who appears ready to take down the Holder/Obama regime, that will be Hillary’s cue to say, “I can’t stand to serve under a president who lied to me and went behind the state dept to provide weapons to killers, blah blah blah.”

Murdergate might not bother her, of course, but it might provide an exit ramp for jumping ship, then reappearing just in time at the convention to replace him.

I've often wondered if Hillary could pull that off cleanly. She threw in with him four years ago and intertwined herself with his administration in a most full way.

That and she's not getting any younger looking, she's tired, and never was exactly photogenic.
