As long as it’s their money, why should I give a damn? But alot of them will probably be lamenting being so wasteful when they get older and wondering where all their money went.
And that was just the money spent legally!
200K spread across what, maybe 20 people? That would be 10K a person. A little rich for my blood but I’m not them. Were any laws broken? Anybody hurt? If not, then why should I care?
Thank you for “getting it”.
Duh, so what?? it was their money, legally and legitimately earned through voluntary exchange. They had a complete legal and moral right to spend it on any legal thing they wanted to. That’ s free enterprise. No way to guilt them over that.
“So many poor people...”
Good for Miami Heat...they diserved this party. It was their money, they can spend it. To hell with the naysayers.
On the other hand, when Moochelle and her ‘rugrats’ travel around the world vacationing hither and thither on taxpayer to pay millions of dollars I am pissed off. She should keep her fat ass in DC, but only until we can get these Usurper/Occupiers out of OUR House.
Can’t wait for Obama to call out LeBron as an evil 1%’er who doesn’t need his money...
RACIST!
Fools and their money soon departed.
The teams move around too much to keep track. The Clippers are no longer in San Diego, and the Lakers are no longer in Minneapolis. How many lakes are there in Los Angeles County?
Armand de Brignac Gold, Rose, or Blanc de Blancs Champagne at about $200-$500/750mlL Bottle.
I hear it goes well with Colt 45 Malt Liquor. /s

Some years ago at a business dinner party where I was a guest those of us who wanted were treated to a shot or two of very old, exquisite cognac at $75 a snifter. We had one host, and a dozen or so of us as guests. Spending that night was not at the Heat level, but was ‘respectible’, especially when you consider that this was 20 years ago, and it was in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Nearly 50 years ago there were 8 of us in a dinner party in the Tower Suite at the top of the Time-Life Building in NYC. It was a multicourse dinner, with appetizers, drinks, wine and after dinner drinks. We had two servers exclusively assigned to us. The total bill was $117. My, how times have changed.
And btw, in either case, I did not feel bad that we were spending money that could have helped some poor family.
Exactly - hope they enjoyed themselves and, like you, created some lifetime memories.
The bar bill was printed in the Boston Herald a day or two later and mostly, we were making fun of the one guy who ordered $3 Miller Lites when everybody else was drinking top shelf.
I see no problem with this. Capitalism at work. The ones who are most successful get to enjoy the spoils. What many people overlook is the fact that all of this trickles down to the working class. The bartenders, waitresses and wine vendors all had one hell of a payday that night.
Liberals just don't seem to understand that if we soak the rich, the working class people are hit the hardest.
200G isn’t even enough to pay the celebrity limo tab at a White House party.
Wow, guys weren’t even getting there until 4:30 in the morning? I’ll give these guys props, they sure can drink. I would’ve been done by midnight. Gosh, these guys are partying like they’re doing coke. Hmmmm....
