He needs to decide which side of the fence he’s on.

The compromise would be do what a majority of US Citizens want to happen. Close the border and enforce the laws. End chain migration..go back to qouta’s and qualifications for immigration. The politicians want to pander to various ethnic groups in exchange for their votes and money. The public is not swayed by those items.

This is a mockery to all the people who come into this country legally.

As long as we have people running unchecked across the borders, we don't need a Department of Homeland Security.

Well, one helpful result of this whole immigration discussion is we have learned that Marco Rubio is a racist and a demagogue.

Rubio calls for compromise on immigration....

Well, there you have it.....COMPROMISE. The Republican tool for self-defeat.

Rubio is going far in the “go along to get along” party.

Compromise = Amnesty

If you aren’t deporting...you are rewarding

Rubio needs to drop the Liberal Amnesty nonsense

Cut off all welfare and related programs and fine the hell out of anyone that employes them on a first offense and mandatory prison time if caught hiring them again!

THAT’S MINIMUM COMPROMISE!

A compromise is a partial surrender.

How come these compromise never give the law-abiding anything?

Am I supposed to “compromise” with home invaders, too?

only whites can be racist

and i am one nowadays by the template

my ancestors built 90% of this joint...not Rubios

i’m about ready to tell him to nut up and go back and take what was his actually

about 90 miles south of Marathon Florida

and quit inviting all his blood here illegally

which is another lie since most Cubans here are white as hell and left behind a mulatto nation dominated by a white Canary Island and Galician (Celtic) descended Marxist elite

was all that confusing enough?

that conservatives kiss Rubios arse is as disgusting as how they once worshipped Powell and Rice here

the idiocy of 100% white Hispanics down with the blood like Vato Amerindians in East LA and tossing my heritage overboard for that when they couldn't even keep their own original country free in the first place

well screw you Mark...and the inner tube you rode in on...metaphorically

and to think I even liked him at first

"it's a more powerful political tool if left unsolved."

No matter what your opinion on the solution, he's right. Both parties are using this. Obama and the Dems are trying to portray themselves as grantors of largesse - or rather implying that they would be, except for those evil Republicans - while the GOP candidates are playing to the anti-immigration crowd by not being honest about the solutions, while at the same time maintaining deniability so that they can say everything was the Dems' fault.

It's cynical and it just leaves the door open for self-serving, dramatic-gesture "solutions" of the type we have just seen.

But that doesn't create policy, and it doesn't solve the problem for the future because neither of the parties has the courage to annoy what they believe to be their constituencies.

Any overall policy is bound to have something in it that will annoy different people on both sides, and the politicians don't have the courage to even begin discussing it because it's easier for them to use the situation as they have it now.

Rubio needs to shut-up about immigration. It does no good to have him and Jebbie and other reputed Republicans running around during a presidential year pandering to Latinos and constantly making proposals most Republican voters oppose.

These geniuses never admit that their constant pandering can alienate far more Republican voters than the few Latinos it might win over.

Here’s my compromise Senator Marco Rino (r-floriduh)

Instead of shooting the bastards dead when they attempt to sneak in, we build a fence and man it Like we do for the South Koreans. If they are caught attempting to sneek in we chop off a foot on the first charge the second one we stake em down in the mountains cut out a gut and let em watch the coyotes feast on them.

If this moron is selected as Rino Romney’s running mate I am not voting for em. Sorry. Won’t do it. I’ll vote but it will NOT be these two turds.
