What’s with that hostess not able to speak plain English? Can hardly understand over her Spanish accent. Going for the illegal vote?

Dewhurst is a Dickweed and a pompous ass. He is sneering and uppity.

Falcon Seaboard was not a company that I held in high regard either.

The bio prior to this debate says he founded Falcon Seaboard... that is at least an economy with the truth. The company was founded in 1935, before he was born and then sold and the name reacquired by one of the original founders. He just said again that he founded a business and built it up from scratch... not true. The company was built by Law and Dewhurst. Law had founded the original Falcon Seaboard. There were a lot of remnants of the old company to begin with I imagine.

Arrogant, self-absorbed ass.

He also just said he didn’t support a payroll tax in Texas... he did.

I’ve never liked Dewhurst, it is time for new blood. Dewhurst is 66, Cruz is 41. Dewhurst has too many “friends” to take care of, always has.

A live audience might stump him on a question. Can’t have that.

Dewhurst stated that he wanted to have a debate in Spanish, so maybe they threw him a bone.

Cruz to eliminate every word of ObamaCare but Mittens wants to keep “the good parts” of it. Who’s the true conservative, huh...

I remember him defending the Payroll Tax as well. I think some “politifact” on the subject even mentioned that there was some such Dewhurst statement in an AP article.

Oklahoma’s Fallon wants to model Texas’ tax structure in Oklahoma. Very bad idea. If you have a job you can pay your income taxes from what you earn. Not so much with property taxes. No job, can’t pay the high taxes. Bad idea in Texas and bad idea in Oklahoma.

Texas is no retirement haven, can’t afford it. Texas is supporting a huge number of dependents, legal and otherwise. It would be Kalifornia before now if it were not for the less liberal business climate and enough oil and gas to get buy.

My taxes in Texas have doubled in the last 14 years, not so much my income. They go up even when the price of housing is going down. Make sense? No, of course not. How is it that the “citizens” on the appraisal boards can do this to their fellow citizens? Where did they come from.

Hostile panel here. Libs are libs if they are polite or not.

Now dewdrop is running on what he has done. He ain’t done spit to cause the “Texas Miracle”. The Texas Miracle is based on energy and technology and capital that has no place else to go but oil and gas. The rest of the economy sucks. Perry and dewdrop didn’t do a thing to make things the way they are in Texas.

There is the salsa chick again. What country did she mention? Sounded like Mekiko or something like that.

dewdrop looks like some smarmy actor. Who is it?

Is that right? How telling! Dewhurst knows who the people are FOR, and who the Establishment are FOR. Thanks.

Cruz is magnificent in that atmosphere and Dewhurst has a bad voice and unhappy countenance.

Spot on. I can see why so many are enamored with Mr. Cruz. I can also see why TEA Party people support him. I think he would make a great senator from the state of Texas.

The Texas GOP Convention Delegates overwhelmingly supported Cruz.

Here is Ted Cruz's Convention Speech

Dewhurst was booed at the convention when Perry spoke about him and when Dewhurst attacked Cruz during his convention speech:

What did dewdrop just say about our enemies supporting the “freedom fighters” in Syria? What the hell is he talking about?

Our “enemies” are supporting Assad who sort of protects the Christians. oblabla supports the rebels who are radical muzzies and who kill Christians at every opportunity.

What a drip dewdrop is.

You are welcome Rita. I think we both see Cruz as a fine candidate who would be good of the state of Texas and for this nation.

Go Cruz! :-)

Senator Patrick was ticked at Dewhurst when the the TSA Anti-Groping bill died in the regular session. The Texas Senate did pass it in the special session, but it was too late for the House to do anything with it and it failed there when they needed a 2/3 vote to suspend the rules.

From Bill targeting TSA groping in Texas airports dead, key senator says

Less than a day after a dramatic scene in the Texas Senate over a bill to ban intrusive searches from the TSA at airports in Texas, a key state senator said Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst had effectively killed the measure for good.
"He came up with this elaborate political play to kill the bill without his fingerprints," state Sen. Dan Patrick said. "Well, his fingerprints are all over this."

I’m glad I got to see this one as I missed the one before the primary. I will again vote for Cruz.

I listened to the primary debate with all the candidates.

Dewhurst came off as a little ....mmm... dense.

Cruz is sharp as a tack, but more importantly, a true believer.
